Manganese ore is a strategic key mineral in short supply in China.Manganese and its compounds are used in all fields of national economy.With rich ore resources drying up,the low grade manganese ore as the main use of objects,in the process of electrolytic manganese electrolysis of low-grade rhodochrosite can produce a large number of electrolytic manganese residue,and manganese metal impurity content is high,so the economic effective improve the grade of manganese ore dressing method is the key to explore suitable seeding process of manganese ore is to realize the reasonable development and utilization of low grade manganese's important way.In this paper,the mineral composition,manganese phase distribution,main mineral embedding characteristics and mineral dissociation characteristics of manganese ore were studied by means of X-ray diffraction,X-ray fluorescence spectrum and optical microscope analysis for a low-grade rhodochrosite in Guizhou province.Based on the study of ore properties,magnetic separation and flotation were used to study manganese extraction and optimize the technological parameters of mineral processing.The mechanism of action of dodecamine and rhodochromanite was analyzed by molecular simulation,flotation solution chemistry and infrared spectroscopy.The following conclusions are drawn:?1?The study of ore properties shows that lumps,strips and microscopic nodules are the main structures and structures of the rhodochrosite;The main useful minerals are siderite and manganese calcite,and the main gangue minerals are quartz and chlorite.Fine-grained siderite is mostly associated with manganese calcite,quartz and clay minerals.Mn content is 10.70%,Mn/Fe and P/Mn ratios are 5.38 and 0.013,respectively.The manganese ore is a high-phosphorus,high-silicon,low-iron and low-manganese ore.Mn is evenly distributed in each grain grade of manganese ore,and ore argillation is serious.?2?The ore dressing test shows that when the grinding fineness is-0.075mm accounting for 67.44%,slurry concentration is 10%and magnetic field strength is 640kA/m,a magnetic concentrate with Mn content of 16.73%and recovery rate of64.17%can be obtained through a strong magnetic separation.The Mn grade of concentrate can be increased to 18.72%by strong magnetic separation-roasting,but the recovery rate can be reduced to 49.84%.Magnetic separation and magnetic separation-calcined concentrate have reached the three-level standards.When the grinding fineness is-0.075mm content is 88.58%,the adjusting agent sodium carbonate content is 3000 g/t,the collector GJBW content is 1500 g/t,and the inhibitor sodium hatite content is 2500 g/t,manganese concentrates with Mn grade and recovery rate of 12.61%and 65.78%can be obtained by adopting the positive flotation process.When the grinding fineness is-0.075mm content is 88.58%,the adjusting agent sodium carbonate content is 1000 g/t,the collector dodecamine content is 600 g/t,and the inhibitor dextrin content is 1000 g/t,the Mn grade and recovery rate are 12.84%and 76.31%,respectively,manganese concentrates can be obtained by reverse flotation process.Compared with the magnetic separation and is flotation technology,magnetic separation and reverse flotation effect is obvious,for a better under the condition of magnetic separation of manganese ore concentrate in reverse flotation,the grinding fineness is 0.075 mm again accounted for 87.25%,slurry pH 7.9,12 amine collector,inhibitors,dextrin and HEDP dosage is 800 g/t respectively,1000 g and 200 g/t conditions,eventually available Mn grade is 18.44%,recovery rate of manganese concentrate 59.06%.The grade of manganese ore is higher than 18%.The magnetic separation-reverse flotation process is considered as a reference method for manganese separation.?3?Through the analysis of the mineral processing mechanism of mangane se ore,it can be known that in the process of magnetic separation,the physical property of weak magnetism of siderite is mainly used to distinguish part of gangue minerals and clay minerals.RNH3+,(RNH3+)22+and RNH3+·RNH?2aq?were the useful components in the recovery of rhododendrite during the reverse flotation with dodecylamine.and physical adsorption of dodecylamine occurred on the surface of rhododendrite.Molecular simulation was used to optimize thee lectron structure and to simulate the adsorption kinetics of siderite,which showed that the interaction between dodeca-mine and the inhibitor HEDP and the siderite was greater than that between H2O and the siderite.The effect of dodeca-mine and inhibitor HEDP on the siderite can overcome the siderite?101 surfaces?H2O molecules and adsorb on the siderite mineral surface.
