Study On The Safety Awareness Evaluation Of Middle Managers In Coal Mines

In recent years,although the general situation of coal mine safety in China continue to improve,coal mine enterprises still face many challenges and problems in safety production situation,and the number of casualties caused by coal mine accidents every year can not be underestimated.How to improve the safety production management of coal mine enterprises is still an urgent task for safety management researchers and practitioners.Many researches shows that the weak of safety awareness of coal mine managers is closely related to the frequent occurrence of coal mine accidents.Improving the level of safety awareness of managers is the key to solve this problem,andmiddle managers play a bridging role in the daily production process of coal mining enterprises.On this basis,this paper focuses on the current situation of safety awareness of middle-level managers in coal mines,analyzed the factors that affect the safety awareness of middle-level managers,and established a quantifiable evaluation index system of safety awareness of middle-level managers in coal mines.This paper provides basis and reference for safety management personnel training and safety management level improvement.On the basis of literature review,the primary index system of influencing factors of safety consciousness of middle-level managers in coal mines wsa established by using grounderd theory,and the primary index was modified and optimized by Delphi method.The indicator system of safety consciousness influence of middle-level managers in coal mines was established with safety skills,safety attitude,safety management and safety behavior as the primary index which include 14 secondary indexes,and under the guidance of this index system,a questionnaire on safety awareness of middle-level managers in coal mines is compiled.The questionnaire has two parts:the first part mainly collects the basic personal background of middle-level managers in coal mines,including age,education background and basic cognition of safety work;the second part is the investigation of factors affecting the safety awareness of middle-level managers in coal minesUsing the questionnaire,194 middle-level managers from four coal mines were investigated anonymously.Statistical analysis software spss24.0 was used to test the item significance,reliability and validity of the questionnaire,and then the questionnaire was revised.Factor analysis method was used to further analyze the questionnaire,and the objective weight value of each index is obtained,and the evaluation index system was improved.The weight of the first level index is 0.308 for safety skills,0.291 for safety attitude,0.196 for safety management,and 0.205 for safety behavior.It can be seen that safety skills have the deepest impact on the safety awareness of middle-level managers in coal mines Finally,the overall score of safety awareness of middle-level managers in the sample was analyzed.According to the score formula,the average score of safety awareness of middle-level managers in the survey sample is 4.04,which is at a high level.The average scores of the first level indicators is 4.06 for safety skills,4.01 for safety attitude,4.09 for safety management and 4.04 for safety behaviors.According to the evaluation results,this paper puts forward the targeted measures to improve the safety awareness level of middle-level managers in coal mines from three aspects of safety skills,safety attitude and safety behavior,in order to make contributions to improve the safety level of coal mines.
