With the rapid development of China in recent years,the trend of urbanization is becoming more and more obvious,and the construction industry is keeping pace with the times.The number of construction workers,especially the number of farmers,is increasing.Although the expansion of the city has brought many employment positions,it has also caused more serious problems,that is,the safety accident rate in the construction industry was high.After investigation,the primary cause of accidents was unsafe behavior,but the deeper reason was the weak safety awareness of workers.As far as the construction field is concerned,domestic and foreign scholars' research on the safety of the construction industry mainly focused on safety behavior and safety atmosphere.Few people study safety awareness.In terms of accident rate,the construction workers are the research objects.,and their safety awareness was qualitatively and quantitatively studied,in order to identify the main factors affecting safety awareness,and the study is more beneficial to improve workers' safety awareness and reducing accidents.Therefore,research on construction workers' safety awareness is particularly important.Based on psychological theory,safety theory,social statistics and structural equation model,this paper collected data by questionnaire and used structural equation model to study the safety awareness of construction workers.The specific research contents are as follows:1.construction workers' safety attitude,safety cognition,safety behavior,risk tolerance and safety knowledge and eighteen external measurement variables were proposed through literature research and site investigation.The reliability and validity of the questionnaire are tested,this shows the date is suitable for structural equation modeling analysis.2.Relevant hypotheses were put forward based on psychological theory and safety theory,construct a safety awareness model for construction workers.The results show that risk tolerance has the greatest impact on workers' safety awareness and has a negative impact on safety awareness,the next are safety behavior and safety knowledge.they have positive impact on safety awareness.Safety cognition and safety attitude have less impact on workers' safety awareness,they also have a positive impact.Therefore,the proposed assumptions have been verified.3.The average safety score of construction workers measured in this investigation is 79.96,indicating that workers' safety awareness level is relatively good.For the calculation of the comprehensive weight of the final measured variable,the factors with greater weight are: overloaded task tolerance,unsafe working environment tolerance,equipment insecurity tolerance,wrong command tolerance,safe operation behavior,and active coordination management behavior.
