The Impact Of Senior Coal Mine Managers' Safety Leadership On The Unsafe Behavior By Miners

In coal mine enterprises,more than 97%of the accidents are caused by the miners'unsafe behavior.Organizational behavior research shows that the major source of perception of employee behavior is safety leadership,in which senior managers' safety leadership can be directly influence on the safety of staff behavior,so the measurement and improve the safety leadership of senior managers to curb the happening of the miners' unsafe behavior is one of the important ways to reduce the coal mine accident harm.In view of this,this study takes the senior managers' safety leadership of coal mine as the entry point to explore the influence mechanism of senior managers' safety leadership and its dimensional structure on miners'unsafe behavior,so as to control the unsafe behaviors of miners effectively.Firstly,based on literature research and grounded theory analysis,the structural dimension of senior manager' safety leadership in coal mine is determined.NVivo qualitative analysis software was used to encode and analyze the coal mine accident reports,and five initial dimensions were obtained based on the accident cases.On this basis,semi-structured interviews with the theme of senior managers' safety leadership were conducted.and the results of interviews arc analyzed by grounded theory.ans six core categories of initial dimensions arc obtained.Based on the above analysis results,with the help of the "Full Range Leadership" theretical model,six senior managers' safety leadership dimensions including personal qualily,safety vision,safety care,safety control,safety guidance and safety policy were finally determined.Secondly,according to the concert and structure analysis of safety climate,the correlation between safety climate,senior managers' safety leadership and unsafe behaviors of miners is demonstrated.and the safety climate is determined as an intermediary variable.Onthis basis,the paper constructs the conceptual model of the influence of senior managers' safety leadership on unsafe behaviors of coal miners from two key research paths of direct and indirect relations,and proposes 15 research hypotheses.Through literature analysis and selection,the measurement indexes of coal mine safety climate and unsafe behaviors of coal miners were extracted,and the questionnaire is compiled and sampled by using Likert five level scale.Spss25.0 was used to carry out data statistics,reliability,validity and exploratory factor analysis of the questionnaire,determine the research variable factor structure,and optimize the scale to carry out secondary questionnaire distribution and recovery.Finally,structural equation model method is used to process data,SPSS25.0 is used to test the fit of the model,and AMOS24.0 is used to test the hypothesis model.The results show that:the senior managers' safety leadership has a significant negative impact on miners'unsafe behaviors,that is,senior managers' safety leadership performance,such as providing safety input and caring for miners' safety,can effectively curb miners' unsafe behaviors;the dimension of senior managers' safety leadership safety vision has a significant negative impact on two types of miners' unsafe behaviors,miners can start from themselves to eliminate unsafe behaviors under the guidance of good safety vision of the enterprise;The outstanding performance of the safety guidance dimension of senior managers' safety leadership can reduce the submissive unsafe behavior of miners;The outstanding performance of personal quality dimension of senior managers' safety leadership can reduce miners'participatory unsafe behaviors;senior managers' safety leadership can indirectly control the occurrence of unsafe behaviors of miners through the enterprise safety climate.Based on the above results,puts forward the promotion suggestions of senior coal mine managers' safety leadership from three aspects:improving safety awareness,strengthening personal quality,and strengthening safety behavior.
