As a core functional component to ensure machining accuracy,the machine tool chuck occupies a fundamental position in the modern manufacturing industry.In recent years,with the increasing requirements for manufacturing precision in the manufacturing industry,the elimination rate of machine tool chucks has been increasing,which has made environmental pollution and resource depletion caused by discarded machine tool chucks an urgent issue for China's sustainable development.Extended Producer Responsibility,as an innovative environmental policy to address waste management issues,has been studied,applied,and promoted in developed countries.Therefore,given the waste management of machine tool chucks in China,the EPR theory must be closely combined with China's national situation and industry characteristics,to explore an effective EPR implementation mechanism of the machine tool chuck industry in China.Based on the waste management of machine tool chucks and the current practice of EPR in China,this research focuses on the study of influencing factors of EPR implementation in the machine tool chuck industry based on product life cycle assessment.The research work mainly includes the following two aspects:(1)Based on the LCA theory,the research goals and system boundaries of the machine tool chuck whole life cycle assessment are defined.Through enterprise research and literature research,the inventory data of each stage in the machine tool chuck's life cycle is analyzed.Based on inventory data,the e Footprint software developed by Sichuan University is used to establish a whole LCA model for machine tool chuck.From a lifecycle perspective,this paper systematically and objectively and quantitatively evaluates the resource depletion and environmental emissions in the material production and chuck manufacturing stage,chuck transport stage,chuck use stage,and chuck recovery stage.Finally,some suggestions are proposed for the improvement of the whole life cycle environmental performance of the machine tool chuck based on the sensitivity analysis of the evaluation results.(2)Based on the EPR theory and the LCA results of the chuck,the EPR responsibility subjects of the machine tool chuck industry is defined as "multi-responsibility body",which extends from a single producer to the stakeholders in the core influence stage of the chuck.By literature Research and enterprise Research,12 factors affecting the EPR implementation in the machine tool chuck industry from the perspective of manufacturers,consumers,recycler,and the government are identified.On this basis,a FuzzyDEMATEL model for EPR implementation of the machine tool chuck industry is established through expert surveys,and the total influence degree and causal relationship of each factor are quantitatively analyzed by Matlab.The results show that,in terms of centrality degree,incentive support,legislative supervision,and market competition are the key factors affecting the EPR implementation in the machine tool chuck industry;in terms of cause degree,legislative supervision,incentive support,and green awareness are the main causal factors,management support,input cost,market competition are the main result factors.Finally,some suggestions are put forward from the perspective of different responsible subjects,which provided a reference for the formulation and implementation of the EPR system in the machine tool chuck industry.
