Investigation On Application Status Of Vegetable Pesticides In An Area Of Tonghua

With the improvement of China's comprehensive strength and people's living standards,people pay more and more attention to the quality and safety of food on the premise of adequate food and clothing.As one of the important components in daily Diet,the pesticide residues in vegetables directly affect the environment,food safety and the health of consumers.The negative impact caused by improper application of pesticides has become a big issue,which gradually evolved into the focus of the whole society.In-depth research,powerful and effective measures need to be taken to address the problem.By using the methods of literature analysis,field investigation,questionnaire survey,statistical analysis and comparative study,this paper analyzes the current situation of pesticide use and farmers' behavior of pesticide use in Ji'an District of Tonghua city.The statistical analysis results show that from 2017 to 2019,the over-standard rate of pesticide residues in vegetables in Ji'an District of Tonghua city is decreasing year by year,and the qualified rate of sampling inspection of vegetables and pesticide quality is increasing year by year,which shows that the measures taken in this area to solve the problem of pesticide residues in vegetables are effective.However,during the investigation,it is found that there are still problems in the use of pesticides by farmers,such as the nonstandard and unscientific use of pesticides.The subjects of the study are the growers of vegetables in this area.By means of field investigation and questionnaire,we can understand the behavior of farmers in purchasing pesticides,applying pesticides and their cognition of pesticides,and analyze the basic characteristics and behavior characteristics of growers by using statistical analysis.The results show that: The educational level of subjects is generally low.Among the 216 subjects,47% of the subjects had education level at primary school level or below.Only 86 subjects,40% of subjects can use pesticides according to the pesticide manual,therefore,in the course of vegetable cultivation,farmers use pesticide norms still need to be further strengthened.Subjects have a low understanding of pest control through the use of biological pesticides,and more than50 percent of subjects do not understand the concept of biological pesticides.Among the subjects,only 13% of the subjects were aware of the hazards of pesticide overuse,and 21% of the subjects reached the general level of understanding.With regard to training in agricultural technology,the number of subjects who have received training once and those who have never received training is higher,accounting for 42 percent and 36 percent respectively.Through the establishment of logistic binary regression model,quantitative analysis of the factors affectingfarmers' pesticide use behavior,the results show that: age,Level of education,frequency of participating in relevant knowledge and technical training,behavior intention are the main factors that significantly affect the quality and safety control behavior of farmers,and there is a phenomenon that farmers' willingness to produce vegetables safely is higher than the actual behavior level.Based on the actual production and the advanced experience of domestic and foreign countries,this study puts forward feasible suggestions from perspectives of farmers who uses pesticides,government departments in charge of pesticide supervision,markets where pesticides are sold and the enterprises producing pesticides: We will strengthen the training of farmers on pesticide hazard knowledge and pesticide use skills,correct improper operation,promote standardized production,optimize agricultural technology service system,improve the access level of pesticide market,and strengthen the management of agricultural material market.It is necessary to encourage pesticide enterprises to strengthen the research and development of biological pesticide,improve the quantity of equipment for rapid detection of pesticide residues in the public domain,encourage the public to participate in the supervision of pesticide residues,and strengthen the publicity efforts.Therefore,it can further regulate the production behavior of farmers who use pesticides,and provide theoretical basis for the local government to formulate regulations and guidelines to prevent pesticide residues,which is of great practical significance for Ji'an city to more effectively prevent and control agricultural residues pollution.
