For the promotion of the application of the pipeline it is important to let people be aware the potential benefit of the pipeline and overcome the traditional thoughts, improve the understanding on plastic pipeline and remove the resistance to the development of the application.In most files about the plastic drainage pipeline there are only discussions on some aspects of technology, specifications, production or application, but in short of the systematic analysis in China currently, so that the target of the research is also on the instruction of the application as well as for strengthening the communication on this issue.The research methods used in the thesis include theoretically comprehensive discussion, systematical analysis, and mathematical analysis. That is to look up plenty of theory and existing research resolution to support the points; to find out the possibility of the application by comparing the social benefit and the economic benefit of plastic pipeline as well as its technology in conjunction with its application circumstance and specifications; to work out the solution of that the perfect specification of plastic pipeline on the basis of actual practical data and analysis of the data.The preset situation of the drainage network and the opportunity of development are discussed in the paper on the macroscopical view and the great future of the construction of the drainage network is also addressed.In the paper it is pointed out that the structural hollow wall pipeline are more less costly than the solid wall pipe by comparing their specifications, structure and material. Different material, structure and its application cost leads to different application field, besides above the new technology such as dragging jacking without excavation for pipeline less than DN700mm also is developed for the drainage pipeline construction.In the paper the detail comparisons on technical and economic analysis of the plastic pipeline and tradition pipeline are addressed and six advantages are found for replacing the traditional pipe .in addition to the above the flexibility of plastic pipeline also support the application of plastic pipeline. Taking the actual examples in Shijiazhuang for the economic analysis, we work out the conclusion of the analysis that the plastic pipeline suitable for the renovation of older district and emergency works.
