Under the trend of vigorously promoting digital oilfield construction at home and abroad,SCADA system plays a vital role in oil and gas field production.Especially in the power supply and distribution system,SCADA system can monitor and control it in all directions in real time to ensure its safe,stable and efficient operation.As a member of the design team,the author participated in the design of SCADA system for power supply and distribution of Halfaya Oil-field surface engineering.The power SCADA system uses 800 x A PPM power management system of ABB Company based on ABB 800 x A configuration software.It adopts distributed control structure including station control layer,communication layer and interval layer,and uses the full redundancy control structure.The main SCADA system i set up in central control room and the regional SCADA system has been set up in each central processing station,to monitor and control the whole power system comprehensively.PMS is integrated into SCADA system,which acts on generator and load management.In this paper,the functions of fast load shedding and low frequency load shedding are introduced in detail.According to the principle of low frequency load shedding and the actual operation of oilfield,load priority is divided to cut off the unimportant loads and maintain the balance of power generation and electricity consumption.
