Continuously promoting the improvement of environmental quality is an important measure to achieve high-quality economic development in China.Whether it is possible to promote the construction of ecological civilization by reducing the concentration of haze pollution is not only of great theoretical significance, but also of great practical value since haze as an important part of environmental pollution. The sources of haze pollution are various and messy. It is necessary to comprehensively and systematically sort out the theoretical literature and analyze the spatial spillover rules and influencing factors of haze pollution,so as to form a scientific and reasonable understanding of haze pollution. For this reason, this paper selects the annual panel data of 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration from 2008 to 2017,uses the dynamic spatial panel data model, measures the spatial spillover effects of haze pollution among these 41 cities, and further identifies various factors that affect the spatial spillover effects of haze pollution based on the adjacent spatial weight matrix, wind direction spatial weight matrix and geographical inverse distance spatial weight matrix. The results show that:(1)the exploratory spatial analysis method(ESDA)proves that there is a significant positive spatial correlation of haze pollution in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration. At the same time, the spillover direction of haze pollution is as the same as the northwest wind direction.(2)The coefficient of haze pollution in the time dimension is significantly positive, indicating that there is a snowball effect in haze pollution. The coefficient in the space dimension is significantly positive, indicating that there is a spillover effect in haze pollution. The coefficient in the time-space dimension is significantly negative, indicating that there is a warning effect in haze pollution.(3)The relationship between economic development and haze pollution is an "inverted U-shaped" curve that increases first and then decreases, which conforms to the classic Environmental Kuznets Curve(EKC)hypothesis.(4)In terms of haze pollution concentration, the "pollution-type" factors include regional scale, transportation and Internet penetration, and the "improvement-type" factors include technological level, temperature and rainfall. In addition, green space coverage, opening to the outside world, fiscal decentralization and sunshine hours have insignificant negative correlation with haze pollution, while industrial structure, environmental regulation and relative humidity have insignificant positive impact on haze pollution. Therefore,in order to win the Blue Sky Protection Campaign and ensure the long-term haze control,it is necessary to break the separate administrative system of haze management and establish a cross-regional coordinated governance mechanism for joint defense and control.
