Blast furnace smelting is the main production mode to obtain pig iron in modern metallurgical industry.The distributor is the key equipment in bell less top charging system,which is widely used in the industry.The BG distributor used in Baotou Steel has been successfully developed and improved many times since 1985.At present,although the operation is relatively stable and can basically meet the production requirements,there are still problems such as poor operation stability of the internal slewing bearing,deformation and fracture of the bracket and easy wear of the chute.The distributor bracket is the key part connecting the distribution chute and the trunnion sleeve.Because it works in heavy load and high temperature environment,it is easy to deform and break.When the bracket deforms,it will directly reduce the distribution accuracy of the distributor and affect the stable production of the blast furnace.If the bracket deforms too much or breaks,it will lead to the function failure of the distributor.The distributor must be replaced as a whole after the blast furnace has been shut down for more than 24 hours.Therefore,the output of pig iron of blast furnace will be reduced,and its economic benefit will be correspondingly lost.In view of the above problems existing in BG distributor bracket,the following research has been carried out.Firstly,the development of BG distributor and the existing problems in the field application are summarized.The transmission principle of the distributor is analyzed systematically,and the power of the motor and the pressure of the hydraulic system required after the weight of the distributor bracket is increased are verified and calculated again.Secondly,SolidWorks software is used to model and simulate each part of the spreader to detect the interference of the improved bracket structure.After the stressanalysis of the spreader bracket,the precise modeling of the spreader bracket is completed by using the SolidWorks simulation software.The stress distribution and displacement changes of the bracket before and after the improvement are compared and analyzed under the normal and hot conditions with the applied load.The paper summarizes and compares three kinds of materials used in the actual application of the distributor bracket,and proves that 42 crmov is the most suitable material for the distributor bracket at present.Finally,combined with the field test results,the design scheme of nitrogen cooling for the distributor bracket by using the nitrogen sealing principle of the distributor box is proposed,the application of the bracket coated with wear-resistant ceramics is summarized,and the next improvement direction of the distributor is proposed.After the above research,the structure of the bracket is redesigned and improved.In practical application,after the structure size of the bracket is increased,it does not interfere with the auger trunnion sleeve,which fully meets the angle requirements of the auger.Using SolidWorks simulation software to analyze and compare the results before and after the improvement of the bracket,it shows that the maximum stress of the bracket under normal load is significantly reduced.
