The first sentence of the "Article 20 of Vocational Education" clearly states: "Vocational education and general education are two different types of education and have equal importance." Premier Li Keqiang mentioned: "To accelerate the development of secondary vocational education,It is beneficial to alleviate the employment pressure in the current situation,and it is also a strategy to solve the shortage of high-skilled talents." Against this background,the CNC machining training course is a very important course for mechanical manufacturing majors in secondary vocational schools.The quality of its teaching and how to train students to better adapt to industrial development are closely related to their employment needs.How to reform teaching methods and achieve core competence training required by CNC machining training courses will be a topic of great research value..This research first conducted a survey through questionnaire surveys and interviews.The data from the survey showed that,in the implementation of NC machining training courses in secondary vocational schools,although the integration of rationality and practicality is generally adopted,the teaching methods are relatively monotonous and students' learning interests are very Low,learning efficiency is not high;the classroom teaching content of the course is not sustainable,the classroom teaching does not integrate perfectly with the students' own characteristics and their industries,and there is a poor connection between the needs of enterprises learned in the school and the enterprise standards.The data also shows that the NC machining training course has a single classroom organization form,incomplete course evaluation methods,and the teaching methods are generally based on first talk,then practice,or demonstration before practice.The evaluation method lacks observations of students' classroom performance and some process assessments.The experimental research results show that: in the courses with strong practicalskills in secondary vocational schools,the use of situational teaching methods can not only make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods,but also improve students' academic performance,learning attitudes,and learning motivation,thereby achieving teaching optimization.
