To deal with the deterioration of the living environment and carbonenergy crises, people begin to look to low carbon. As an important selfreflection of the history of relationship between man and nature, thehistory of human social development, low carbon is affecting andchanging human attitudes and obtaining way towards naturalresources, peoples living habits, ways of thinking and the developmentway of world economy. Practicing the low carbon concept, promotingthe low carbon economy, realizing the harmony between human andnature, developing the human society sustainably, all of these havebecome the mainstream in the development of future society. Itpresents a new task–research on students low carbon education.Combining with the authors experience, this paper, on the basis ofprevious works, studies the low carbon penetration research intosecondary school chemistry teaching.By adopting these three kinds of methods: literature research, educational experiment, questionnaire investigation, a study of how topermeate the concept of low carbon into vocational school chemistryteaching, has been proceed from the following way: the concept oflow-carbon, the review of the research, the investigation of low-carbonconcept of the secondary vocational school students, the permeationpathway of low carbon concept in vocational school chemistryteaching, and the analysis about penetration efficiency before andafter experiment.Interpenetrating the knowledge with low carbon and chemistry, and integrating the philosophy of low carbon and chemistry, realizingthe permeation in practice, these are the effective pathways forvocational training the low-carbon concept permeation in chemistryteaching activities. The permeation can be operated by the five following ways: introduction, theory, experiment, practice, and thecombination. The introduction is the start, it helps the studentsunderstand what the low-carbon is, and promote the potential designof practicinglow-carbon activities. It is also very important in theory education, experimental work, out-school practice and professional combination. All of the procedures mentioned above will enhance and cultivate thelow-carbon philosophy. The last item of this paper is the performance analysis for thesamples before and after experiment. The result shows that it appearseffective in improving students understanding and promoting studentslow carbon behaviors. It provides a systematic paradigm for futurerelated disciplines in low carbon concept penetration.
