HY Company,the object of this paper,is a steel production enterprise.Its current operating performance is good,but its performance management level is not high.Under the background of the development of market economy,the backward management mechanism is bound to hinder the development of the enterprise,will weaken HY company's competitive position in the market.This article introduces HY Company's basic situation,uses the questionnaire,the interview form from the Management Angle of view and the staff angle of view,on the basis of studying relevant theoretical literature at home and abroad,this paper summarizes a series of problems existing in the present performance appraisal system of HY Company: The setting of appraisal index is not perfect,the feedback and communication mechanism of the single appraisal subject is not perfect,etc.In the process of optimization,the following conclusions are drawn: The reform of enterprise performance appraisal management system should be based on the strategic goal of the development of iron and steel enterprises;The scientific performance appraisal management method is helpful for the construction of the enterprise performance appraisal system to be more reasonable;the process of the enterprise performance appraisal is a process in which the whole enterprise participates together,and the appraisal subject can not be limited to the staff of the Human Resources Department,to encourage the employees to participate actively in the company assessment is more helpful to realize the win-win of the enterprise and the employees.Through the gradual optimization of the actual performance evaluation of HY iron and steel enterprises,the actual operation and management cost of iron and steel enterprises is effectively reduced,having solved the major problem that the actual performance appraisal management system of the Iron and Steel Enterprise has no direct connection with the future development strategy of the Iron and steel enterprise before,through the optimization of the performance appraisal index of the enterprise,it can not only effectively improve the actual operation and management efficiency of iron and steel enterprises,but also enhance the core competitiveness and strength of iron and steel enterprises,it also provides a theoretical reference and practical demonstration for other iron and steel enterprises which fully utilize the balanced scorecard method to carry out enterprise performance reform.
