Under complicated coal seam conditions,the shearer spiral drum is prone to wear and tear failure,especially the pick and spiral blade.In order to study its wear problem,based on the cutting mechanism of the spiral drum and wear theory,a three-dimensional solid model of the spiral drum cutting coal containing rock was established by using Pro/E and ANSYS Workbench software.Different kinematics parameters were set in ANSYS/LS-DYNA software to simulate the dynamic process of the shearer spiral drum cutting coal and rock,and to analyze the change process of the coal and rock fragmentation zone at different times.In the post-processing software LS-PrePost 4.0 of ANSYS/LS-DYNA,the wear location of pick and helical blade is found,and the load of pick and helical blade under different working conditions is extracted.Based on the data processing function of MATLAB software,the wear quantity of pick and helical blade is calculated,and the variation law of wear quantity of pick and helical blade under different working conditions is found.The results show that the greatest wear of the pick occurs at the tip and front edge of the tooth,and the worn position of the helical blade occurs at the tail and outer edge of the blade;the average contact force and wear amount of the pick and helical blade decrease with the increase of the rotational speed of the drum;the average contact force and wear amount of the pick and helical blade increase with the increase of the traction speed;The coal charging method has no obvious influence on the wear amount of the pick,but it has a significant influence on the wear of the spiral blade.The effect of pushing coal loading is greater than that of the projectile.Using the hybrid orthogonal test method to analyze the influence of the drum rotation speed,the traction speed of shearer and the coal loading method on the test results,combined with the actual working process of the shearer,find the kinematic parameters combination that minimizes the contact force and the wear amount of the pick and the spiral blade.It lays a certain theoretical foundation for improving the service life of the shearer spiral drum,and provides an important reference for the subsequent repair of the spiral drum.The paper has 42 figures,24 tables,and 61 references.
