The development of human-compatible,healthy and comfortable green skin-friendly fiber materials is an important development direction in the research and development of new textile materials.Lotus fiber,as one of the new natural and environmentally friendly cellulose fibers to be developed,has broad market prospects and research value.At the same time,it has a profound cultural heritage and can be applied to high-end clothing and luxury goods.It has good consumption and collection value.The performance research of lotus fiber,yarn and fabric determines the design and development direction of the product,so measuring and analyzing its performance parameters has a decisive role in exploring the lotus fiber product.In this paper,the fiber properties and yarn properties of lotus fibers were tested and analyzed,and the weaving process was designed to complete the weaving of six samples,and the test and analysis of fabric properties and product wear performance were carried out.This paper first tested the properties of lotus fiber.Using SEM scanning electron microscope,it was observed that the lotus fiber exhibited spiral cross-linked fiber bundle morphology;combining infrared spectroscopy and chemical quality analysis method,it was concluded that the cellulose content of lotus fiber occupies the main position and has a high content of lignin.The crystallinity of the lotus fiber measured by X-ray diffraction is 38.4% and the degree of orientation is 76.6%;the moisture regain of the lotus fiber measured by the oven method is as high as 12.99%,indicating that the lotus fiber has excellent moisture absorption performance;In this paper,the mechanical and electrostatic properties of the lotus fiber have been tested.The results show that the lotus fiber has relatively good mechanical properties and antistatic properties.In this paper,part of the performance test of the lotus yarn was carried out,and the linear density of the lotus yarn was measured to be 88.25 tex by using the fixed-length weighing method.The data analysis shows that the uniformity of the yarn is low.The electron microscope method was used to observe that the surface of the yarn was relatively rough,and was composed of spiral ribbon fiber bundles intertwined with each other.Measured by subjective assessment,the lotus yarn has a lasting natural wood fragrance.Under the conditions of constant temperature and humidity,the yarn hairiness,dynamic friction coefficient and tensile breaking and tearing strength were tested.The results show that lotus yarns are not prone to hairiness.The breaking strength of lotus yarns in dry and wet conditions is 9.11 cN / tex and 11.97 cN / tex,respectively,and the elongation at break is 2.22% and 2.90%.The dynamic friction coefficient of the lotus yarn is 0.39.Combined with other physical and mechanical properties of the yarn,it can be considered that the lotus yarn is able to be woven into products.In terms of weaving process,fabric performance and product wearability,the weaving of lotus fiber products is more difficult.The instrument analysis and subjective evaluation are used for testing and analysis.Studies have shown that lotus fiber fabrics have good antistatic properties and good mechanical properties such as resistance to stretching and tearing,but poor wear resistance.In terms of consumption performance,the weight of pure lotus fabric is 229.72 g.The lotus fiber fabric has outstanding drapability,and has a smooth and soft feeling.Also it has good color fastness to soaping.Combining the testing and analysis of the properties of lotus fibers and the investigation of cultural background,this article has designed and developed the products of lotus fiber.The inspiration for product design comes from the fusion of Buddhist culture and traditional Chinese culture.Combining the excellent performance of the lotus fiber fabric itself,a total of two physical scarves and three patterns of simulated scarves and a hand-made sample half skirt were designed.Studies have shown that lotus fiber has expected good performance and industrial background,and can be designed and developed into a healthy and comfortable,human compatible,skin-friendly and environmentally friendly cultural concept product.
