With more and more attention focused on environmental protection, the textile industry are showing unprecedented interest on natural products and the demand is increasing sharply. Lotus fiber is one of the natural materials, which hasn’t been utilized effectively. There is abundant of natural cellulose exists in lotus petiole stalk fiber. However, the current utilize of lotus fiber is very limited, for the collection of lotus fiber is mainly conducted my manual labor,which is a waste of manpower and material resources and not possible to realize the mass production.What’s more, the natural cellulose fiber can not be produced by the traditional method. To make better use of lotus fiber and realize the industrialization of the lotus fiber production, this paper choose lotus fiber equipment as it’s topic and direction.Committing my effort to design a mechanized equipment to acquire lotus fiber.In order to design a proper acquisition equipment,my paper are conducted as follows : First of all,the detailed analysis and research about structure and organization of lotus stalk, as well as the mechanical properties. Second,analyzing its acquisition process method.The selection of acquisition process will affect the equipment design greatly.With the experimental project,my program will explore various lotus fiber acquisition process.The Key institutional parts are as follows :transmission mechanism unit, pressure unit, tensile mechanism unit and the fiber acquisition unit. Finally,with the use of the Catia on the device, the design can be accomplished right at first time. After completing the modeling,Solidworks, another three-dimensional modeling software, will be used simulated to optimize the equipment. The virtual prototype module in the Solidworks can complete the mechanical analysis of statics and dynamics,which will eliminate institutional problems such as the movement of the interference.The design and creation of this equipment can be implemented to a mechanical acquisition of,providing a effective means to textile industry. At the same time, my program of mechanical lotus stalk fiber acquisition method will lay a good foundation of a more efficient machinery equipment in the near future.
