Study On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Water Pollution Control In Vientiane,Laos

Water pollution prevention and control is a global problem,Vientiane city in Laos is also facing serious water pollution problem.For the country of Laos including vientiane city,the way to control water pollution is to learn from the advanced experience and measures of foreign countries in water pollution control based on the understanding of its own reality and problems,so as to formulate effective water pollution control plans and specific countermeasures in line with the local reality of vientiane city.Research idea of this paper is the first analysis of Vientiane city natural geographical conditions and the current situation of water resource utilization and pollution,on the basis of using the method of SWOT to Vientiane city development situation of water pollution control planning objective and comprehensive analysis and evaluation,and further puts forward the corresponding adjustment measures,these measures includes long-term,also including the short term,both in technology,capital investment,including long-term system construction,and only in this way can we work out over a longer period for water pollution control planning.1 in terms of the current situation of Vientiane city,due to the geographical environment,the city receives relatively more rainfall throughout the year and the total amount of water resources is relatively rich,but due to the terrain and land use factors,the water resources cycle is not strong in self-purification;On the other hand,the problems existing in the areas of residential water and industrial water cause serious waste of water resources,and the lax discharge and management standards of sewage also make the situation of water pollution increasingly serious.On the other hand,the treatment of water pollution itself is a systematic project requiring huge investment.However,the economic development level of the country and the city of vientiane also need to be further improved.Therefore,it is also an important practical problem to solve the cost control and fund raising of water pollution treatment.2 in Vientiane city water pollution governance SWOT ways,whether it be a strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats,are natural geographical factors and social factors,the two aspects of visible,vientiane city water pollution control and management of basic idea is to keep advantage,disadvantage,the specific strategy is to rely on capital,technology and system,but it is the need to strengthen the government's pollution management and of the citizen's environmental protection consciousness,this is other strategies to play a powerful booster factors of good results.3 in terms of measures and Suggestions for water pollution control in Vientiane city,in addition to strengthening technological research and development and cooperation,what is more important is the institutional construction and improvement of water pollution control and the upgrading of economic development level,so as to provide economic guarantee forthe implementation of water pollution control plan.The proposed measures include changing the pattern of economic development,exploring the emission tax system,improving water pollution prevention and control facilities,training professional management personnel,strengthening international exchanges and cooperation,raising citizens' awareness of environmental protection,and strengthening law enforcement of water pollution.
