The Elderly Overall Cabinet Functional Design Research

Facing the challenge of aging,one of the pension problem has become the Chinese government need urgently to solve,in view of people homesick plot,there have been quite a number of old people choose housing endowment,and as one of the four major functional areas in the environment in the home,Kitchen is an integral part of a home among the elderly in later life.Kitchen as a big system of a residential environment,contain many aspects of the design elements,this paper based on the elderly residential kitchen cabinets market research and feasibility analysis,found that most cabinet of the existing products on the market,are the similar style,their appearance are similar,the lack of some independent research and development ability and design standardization.Now elderly population is base largely and fast growing,hard to avoid in everyday life and design the integral cabinet product for the elderly to use is called a and solve the problem.The research purpose of this research is on the basis of understanding the elderly physical,psychological,combined with the core of the residential kitchen,integral cabinet product as research object,from the height of the system theory,build the model of integral cabinet design factors,traditions of our country and discusses the Chinese and western kitchen culture history,style,layout,function partition of cabinet,such as man-machine relationship,CMF elements is analyzed.Study the elderly activity,the main characteristics and kitchen to condole ark bottom ark,work station,hearth primarily study on design of integral cabinet,in the process of research,theoretical analysis combined with actual situation,to the old people's physiological characteristics and behavior based on the analysis of the kitchen activities,product in the comfort,safety,respect the elderly more emotional needs,and finally to the typical northern cities in our country community user questionnaire survey analysis,to validate the above conclusion,thus designed can meet the demand of the old kitchen cabinet products,making the elderly people to use residential whole cabinet not only can enrich the life,add life interest,more important is to meet the elderly emotional appeal,reflect on their humanistic care.
