The Research Of Scouring Bath Product Design For Seniors Citizen

With the arrival of the aging society in China,and gradually to determine the old-age home based pension model at the same time also brought a series of social problems.China’s elderly is still in the initial stage,the study on the suitable aging family living environment system is not enough in-depth,the lack of suitable aging products to the designers put forward a lot of new research topics.According to statistics,the fall is the first reason for the death of the elderly over 65 years of age in China,and fell more than the location of the home bathroom.A bath room layout,the size of the product space and facilities,will have an impact on the elderly bathing system,if the improper design will bring many hidden dangers to the elderly,even a serious threat to the health of the elderly,daily activities and the ability to live independently,will increase the burden of family and society.This paper analyzes the current situation of the three aspects of the elderly in the family bathroom bathing activities involved in the user,bath products facilities and environment,using the method of observation and questionnaire.Summed up the elderly during bathing activities,execution flow,mode of action,use frequency and position transformation.The elderly in the use of bath system facilities,the main actions include walking,bending,turn around,sit / stand posture transformation and upper and lower limb activities,such as the six basic actions.Through the analysis of the problem of posture transformation and then summed up the balance,support and the application of force and other aspects of the auxiliary.In addition with the elderly to use bath related products(such as shampoo bottle,shower)posture when grasping and switching mode,the research for the elderly to use bath accessories.At last,combined with other related theories and existing research results,the design principles and Strategies of the suitable aging residential bath system are put forward.And apply the theory research and the direction strategy to the concrete design practice,put forward the family bath product design plan which is suitable for the old people’s emotion demand and the use way.In order to help the elderly people in the process of the different posture transformation and application needs,to help reasonable and feasible to establish an appropriate aging home system.It has positive significance for the realization of universal social goal of " A sense of security,the old have been medical,entertainment and learning".
