Cotton knitted fabric has excellent properties such as good moisture absorption,comfortable touch,etc.,and has been deeply loved by consumers.At present,many printing and dyeing factories use overflow dyeing machines to process fabrics.And the factory use small bath ratio,large capacity,high speed processing method.Cotton knitted fabrics tend to form dead creases in dyeing machines.It is very necessary to explore the anti-crease performance of pure cotton knitted fabric in wet processing.Firstly,three commercial bath softeners F-1,D-5100,DEC and four commercial post-finishing softeners PU972,PU602,CN-8813 and CGF-343 were selected for chemical stability test.The fabric is soaked and rolled with seven different concentrations of softeners to achieve a liquid rate of 85%.The treated fabric was pressed at a pressure of 50 N for 5min.After removing the pressure,the crease recovery angle was measured within 2min.The results showed that F-1,D-5100,DEC,PU972,PU602,CN-8813 and CGF-343 have certain anti-wrinkle properties in wet state.Waterborne polyurethane softeners and amino silicone oil softeners have better wrinkle resistance than commercial bath softeners F-1,D-5100 and DEC.Secondly,the seven softeners were applied in the pretreatment bath,and the treated fabric was dyed with reactive dyes and soaping.By measuring the crease recovery Angle of the fabric in pretreatment,dyeing and soap bath,as well as the whiteness,capillary effect,dyeing rate and fixation rate,K/S,CMC DE and rubbing fastness of the fabric,it is concluded that the fabrics treated with PU972,PU602,CGF-343 and CN-8813 have better anti-wrinkle properties.And after dyeing and soaping,the fabrics can maintain good wrinkle resistance.However,due to excessive use of PU972,PU602,CN-8813 and CGF-343,the color and light of the fabric can vary greatly.Therefore,the optimal dosage of F-1,D-5100,DEC,PU972,PU602,CN-8813 and CGF-343 in the pretreatment bath is 6g/L.Then,PU972 and DEC softener were selected for further discussion.PU972 and DEC softener were added to the dye bath based on the optimal amount of pretreatment.The crease recovery angle of fabric in dyeing bath and soap bath was tested.The results show that PU972 has better anti-wrinkle performance than DEC softener in dyeing bath.PU972 treated fabric can still maintain good wrinkle resistance in the subsequent processing.However,the crease recovery performance of DEC treated fabrics decreased significantly.According to the determination of dyeing rate,color fixation rate,K/S,CMC DE and rubbing fastness,Adding more than 2g/L PU972 to the dye bath has a great influence on the color and light of the fabric,PU972 is not suitable for dyeing in the same bath.The optimum amount of DEC softener in dye bath is 4g/L.Finally,PU972 and CGF-343 were added in the soaping process.According to the crease recovery angle,K/S,CMC DE and rubbing fastness,PU972 and CGF-343 can maintain the crease resistance of the fabric.However,if the amount is too large,the color and light of the fabric will be greatly affected.And the increase of wrinkle recovery angle will be slowed down.After comprehensive consideration,the optimal dosage of PU972 and CGF-343 in soap bath is 4g/L and 2g/L respectively.
