As a kind of industrial furnace,the ore furnace mainly produces ferroalloy in metallurgical industry.With the environmental problems have become increasingly prominent and the improvement of mechanization and automation level of equipment,the feeding equipment of ore furnace needs to be constantly updated.The addition of materials in the ore furnace is from the initial manual feeding to the subsequent tube feeding,and then to the mechanized and modern feeding method,which also has increasing requirements for the type and quality of ferroalloy products.The development of the mechanization and automation of the distributor has played a key role in it.It can not only replace the traditional way of manual direct feeding,but also to a certain extent reduces the danger of manual direct contact with toxic and harmful substances such as furnace gas and dust,which better protects workers’ production safety.This paper proposes a new type of distributor for the ore furnace,which is driven by two independent hydraulic cylinders to achieve the purpose of controlling the movement of the chute.The two hydraulic systems do not interfere with each other and are independent of each other,providing two types of chute movement.Based on the structural design and three-dimensional modeling of the new distributor,motion analysis and the finite element analysis of the key parts of the virtual prototype of the distributor are carried out.Finally,the influence of the chute motion form on the particle motion and the distribution of the particle blanking area is analyzed.The main research contents and results of the paper are as follows:1.Use 3D modeling software to build the model of the ore furnace,and the software is used to check the dead point and interference of the distributor to ensure the correctness and feasibility of the distributor model.2.Simplify the virtual prototype model of distributor of the ore furnace and perform dynamic simulation on the simplified model to verify the theoretical analysis and the motion feasibility of the distributor.3.Use the finite element software to analyze the chute of the distributor of the ore furnace,and the equivalent stress and total displacement cloud diagram of the chute under the impact of the material are obtained.The results show that the distributor chute meets the requirements of strength and stiffness.In addition,the stability and strength analysis of the connecting rod of the distributor of the ore furnace and the structural optimization design are carried out.The results show that the connecting rod of the distributor is sufficiently stable in the process of transferring the motion form.On the basis of ensuring the strength and stiffness of the connecting rod,the mass has been reduced by 30.09%.4.For the two types of movement of the chute,use the discrete element analysis software to simulate the movement of the material and the material distribution range in the furnace area.The simulation results show that the material distribution in the furnace can achieve the intended purpose,and the distribution range meets the requirements of the smelting area.The distribution mode and effect are significantly better than the traditional distribution mode and effect.The above-mentioned research of the distributor is carried out through the established three-dimensional model of the distributor,and the results can provide data help for the actual production of the ore furnace,and it is of great practical significance to improve the production efficiency and quality of ferroalloy products.
