Hydraulic support is one of the most important equipments in the mechanization method of coal mining. With the development of the synthesization technology of coal mining, the requirement for hydraulic support design is more and more high. The design of hydraulic support will guarantee perfect performance , high reliability and will alleviate weight as far as possible.The project of three-dimensional digitlization that has been established hydraulic support model using SOLIDEDGE software by Parasolid interface file and other means realizes data transmit between three-dimensional digitlization model and multi-body system dynamics model, and makes its technology apply in the research of digitlization model. At the same time, the method and basic theory of dynamics software ADAMS are introduced. The project studies the key technical problem of establishing hydraulic support virtual prototype model. Additionally the analysis and comparison of the movement knowledge of various scheme of hydraulic support are carried out. According to the result of the analysis and comparsion , the design scheme after optimization is determined. The models of 4-linkage mechanism of hydraulic support is established and hydraulic support virtual prototype model is assembled. The dynamics analysis model of certain type hydraulic support is made up through modifying the models of 4-linkage mechanism. In analysis result, we can find out that this hydraulic support design is practical and feasible.Basing on emulation and analysis of multi-body system dynamics model, the project completes the optimization design of 4-linkage mechanisms of hydraulic support and determines the actual size of this type support.
