Nowadays, green environmental protection is the theme of modern society,environment protective water-based printing ink is trend of social development,it is non-toxic, no alcohol and benzene and other organic solvents, nonirritating odor, it has been widely used in the green packaging industry in recent years.With the development of society, people's pursuit of exquisite degree of external packaging is greatly improved. For gravure printing ink layer thick, rich levels, the high-end printing exquisite, it meet the requirements of the people.Silver ink with its special color and metallic luster is widely used in the exquisite packaging of various commodities popularly. Therefore, development of pure water type silver gravure printing ink is a kind of inevitable trend, it is a new type of green printing supplies a great development prospects and market potential.In this paper, the preparation and optimization of water-based silver gravure ink were studied. The influence of the pigment type, the ratio of pigment to pigment, the kind and dosage of dispersant, stirring speed and time on the dispersibility of base ink were investigated. The influence of the type of film-forming resin and the proportion of the film-forming resin on the printing properties such as particle size, gloss, surface tension and leveling was investigated. In addition, through the degreasing treatment of aluminum powder pigment and the modification experiment of sol / gel method, the instability of pure water-based aluminum ink was improved. The effect of different phosphoric acid concentration on the degreasing effect of aluminum pigment was studied. The effects of Al / Si ratio, water / silicon ratio, catalyst dosage, volume and reaction time on the modification of aluminum powder were investigated. The results of FTIR, SEM, XRD and XPS showed that the aluminum oxide powder coating on the surface of aluminum powder had the existence of silica modified coating.The results show that the influence of the pigment type, the type and amount of the dispersant, the color ratio of the ink, the speed and the time of stirring on the dispersing performance of the ink are bigger. When the aluminum pigment PHY20 and dispersant JL115A(2%) were used, the dispersibility of the prepared base ink was the best, when the stirring speed was 300 r / min and the dispersion was 100 min, the type of film-forming resin has a great impact on ink properties. When the ratio of the film-forming resin813 and the film-forming resin S2919 was 16: 9, the overall performance of the ink was the best. 0.02 mol / L phosphoric acid ethanol solution is the most suitable for aluminum powder pigment degreasing treatment of a solution.When the aluminum to silicon ratio is 13.3: 1, the ratio of water to silicon is 80:1, the dosage of ethylenediamine is 2.7g and the volume of the agent is 200 ml,the aluminum powder pigment particles with good modification effect can be obtained by the reaction at 50 ? for 6 hours.
