Research On Economic Evaluation Of Water Environment Treatment Project Based On Financial Perspective

Over the past 40 years,with the rapid development of China's economy,people's living standards have been greatly improved.However,while achieving brilliant economic development achievements,environmental pollution is becoming increasingly serious,water resources are scarce in some areas,and the ecological environment is still deteriorating.In order to develop the sewage treatment industry for sustainable development,the country strives to eliminate the urban black odorous water body.Under this policy background,there is huge room for development of private environmental protection enterprises in the water environment treatment industry.The establishment of water control PPP projects in various places has provided market space.After the rapid growth of the assets of many private environmental protection enterprises,they have been successfully listed on the New Third Board,which has improved financing channels.Successful cases of asset securitization of PPP projects have made business owners and management see a new direction to solve the current situation of financing difficulties.However,even with the support of national policies and government finances,the development of private environmental protection enterprises is still hampered.In addition to improper project investment decision-making methods,other reasons come from internal control of enterprises.The information asymmetry under the principal-agent relationship leads to incomplete consideration of the project in economic evaluation,which affects investment decisions and leads to low investment efficiency.This article,from the perspective of private environmental protection companies,analyzes the internal problems in the development of enterprises through intuitive problems in economic evaluation,proposes improvement measures,and provides suggestions for the development of other similar companies.
