The ecological environment is the foundation of social and economic development, and social and economic development will promote the improvement of the ecological environment. The coordinative development of the ecological environment and the social economy is one of the hotspots in urban sustainable development research, and accurate evaluation is a key step to its coordinate development research.Traditional eco-economic evaluation methods were generally based on various census statistical data, such data usually has problems such as difficulty in obtaining and difficult to rasterize. In recent years, with the rise of global remote sensing technology,in addition to using sunlight remote sensing to observe the natural environment, nighttime light remote sensing has been used to observe human social and economic activities.Remote sensing data has compensated for the limitations of traditional statistics with its advantages of independence, objectivity, and continuous time and space. It has gradually become a new type of data foundation for the study of ecological and economic related measurement. Therefore,it is of great scientific significance to fully explore the application potential of remote sensing data in the field of ecological economic measurement.Based on the Luojia1-01 nighttime light imagery and the MODIS sunlight imagery, the spatial patterns of eco-economic coupling coordinative development were identified across Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomerations from 2018 to a period of time in the future. The main research content and results are as follows:(1)Study on socio-economic evaluation based on Luojia1-01 data.Firstly,on the basis of previous research,26 indicators were selected from 2018 Jiangsu Province(Typical Area)socio-economic statistics, including four dimensions of economic scope, economic structure, social efficiency and residents' lives to construct a typical county socio-economic development indicator evaluation system.Secondly,by digging the correlation between the socio-economic index of typical counties and the nighttime light index extracted from Luojia1-01 data in 2018,a remotely sensed socio-economic measurement model for the study area was constructed to evaluate the county socio-economic development level. Finally, the remotely sensed socio-economic index of the study area was predicted based on the based on the Luojia1-01 future development prediction model for a period of time in the future, and the spatial patterns of its socio-economic development were identified. The results showed that there was a good correlation between the socio-economic index of the typical area and the Luojia1-01 nighttime light index, and a second-order linear model of socio-economic index and nighttime light index per unit land area had the best goodness of fit with a coefficient of determination of 0.924 and root mean square error of 0.050,indicating Luojia1-01 data has a good estimation performance in the field of socio-economic measurement.(2)Study on ecological environment evaluation based on the urban RSEI theory.Six vegetation eco-environmental indicators including average Fractional vegetation cover,Leaf Area Index,Gross Primary Productivity,Land Surface Temperature,Land Surface Wetness, and Land Surface Dryness were calculated by MODIS data from May to September 2018(vegetation growing season)in the study area.Combined with the urban RSEI theory, the remote sensing ecological composite index was constructed, and the spatial patterns were identified. Finally, the factors of vegetation eco-environment quality in the study area were discussed. The results found that Fractional vegetation cover,Leaf Area Index,Gross Primary Productivity and Land Surface Wetness contributed positively to the ecosystem in the study area, while Land Surface Temperature and Land Surface Dryness had a negative impact on the ecosystem,it is consistent with the actual situation. The ecological environment quality in the study area is mainly affected by altitude factors, and is less affected by temperature and rainfall.(3)Study on the coupling coordinative development of eco-economy based on the coupling coordination theory. The degree of coordinated development between the socio-economic system and the eco-environment system of the study area was measured from 2018 to a period of time in the future based on the theoretical basis of coupling coordination theory,eco-economic theory and sustainable development. Its spatial patterns and the spatio-temporal evolution had also been identified. Finally, based on the study results and the actual situation of the study area, the practice path of benign coupling of eco-environment and socio-economic was discussed. There was a severe degree polarization of eco-economic coupling coordinated development in the urban agglomeration of the Yangtze River Delta, and the recession counties were mainly distributed in the hilly areas of southern Anhui, western and southern Zhejiang, and along the Yangtze River Basin from Jiangsu to Shanghai. This study was based on the experimental ideas of measuring socio-economic level and eco-environment quality based on remote sensing imagery, proving that Luojia1-01 nighttime light remote sensing data and urban RESI theory are highly effective and reliable new tools for research related to the coordinated development of eco-economy.It greatly enriches the research content and improves research timeliness. The coordinated development of the socio-economic and eco-environment of the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomerations is of great guiding significance for the promotion of high-quality regional integration. This article results can provide the relevant developments of the study area with a scientific basis of implementing response.
