Mass customization as a new mode of production will become the most importantproduction technology of the21st century. This article take the forklift products as the researchobject and in-depth study of the Visual product configuration technology for masscustomizationis, provides an effective approach for forklift enterprise to quicklycomplete the product configuration design and the customization service ofsynchronization visual configuration.First, Research on modular product family model, carried on the product familyand the modular division to the forklift truck, According to the functional-structuralmapping principle to create the truck's modular product family model, to do thepreparation for visual product configuration design.Secondly, the study of three-dimensional visualization technology in visualproduct configuration. three-dimensional modeling design, and three-dimensionalassemble model of the product family design, and three-dimensional model oflightweight processing techniques for forklift tucks in the three-dimensional visualizationtechnology are discussed in detail. Put forward a method of three-dimensional skeletonmodel design of Top-down based on modular, provide support for the creation ofthree-dimensional assembly structural model under the framework of modular productfamily, the problem of intelligent assembly of three-dimensional model in the process ofproduct be solved effectively. three-dimensional model of the lightweight handling canbetter support for online display three-dimensional graphics, the three-dimensionalvisualization design ensures the realization of visual product configuration.Then, research on product configuration design technology in visual productconfiguration.
