Design Reasearch Of Self-care Products For Elderly Patients With Chronic Diseases

Self-care is the behavior which being carried out by human beings in order to survive in this world and adapt to this environment better so that we can keep healthier body,it can be divided into self-care in a healthy body and self-care in disease state.In 1971,American Nursing experts Orem suggested that everyone should be responsible for their own health,when other people or the surroundings we stay prompted us to recognize nursing,is mean to improve our self-care skills.She put healthy people referred to as "self-caregiver" patient referred to as "self-care handicapped",the self-care she defined,is trying to help the self-care handicapped to be more healthy with their own self-care,so that patients can recover quickly or grow oldsafely.When the human individuals are injured or sick,we must master the correct nursing care methods to reduce pain relief and bad impact with a new living state.The nursing person or family should enable patients to improve self-care ability,to provide help as much as possible,to ease the patient’s psychological pressure in order to improve their understanding of the disease,and take protection and rehabilitation measures in a timely manner.The existing medical care products for the elderly in the self-care have a great vacancy,mostly in order to nursing as the main goal andtreatment as the basic means,but the elderly long-term chronic disease management need to consume a lot of social resources,as a dynamic manifestation,the patient’s own self-care will greatly reduce the consumption of various resources and also brings a lot of positive and upward impetus to the old people’s life.Thus,self-care product is actually a high-value medical products design.In this paper,based on physiological and psychological health status of the elderly and the existing health-care products and the problems as a subject to study,to find the path of long-term chronic disease self-care for the elderlyand to try to do the conceptual design as a case.In conclusion,elderly chronic self-care should be function togetheron the physical and psychological part.Because the elderly often have multiple chronic conditions in their body,the product design requires multiple physiological parameters detection and integrated care program,therefore,network monitoring equipment,and data analysis platform is the formation conditions and access to good data.On this basis,the paper has done simple design on structure information platform.In addition,there are some special cognitive characteristics in the elderly,so the design of nursing products for the elderly must be simple and easy to use.
