Research On The Concept Of Continuous Care-based New Elderly Care Community Planning

The aging of population,as a worldwide issue,has a profound and lasting impact on today’s society.It has been not long since China has entered the aging society but at a relative rapid speed,however,China is still faced with increasingly prominent elderly care problems.As a consequence,the traditional elderly care model can no longer meet the diverse elderly care needs of the public,which requires new elderly care community models to relieve the stress caused by the aging of population and push forward the development of China’s elderly care industry.Having going through a mature development process in foreign countries,Continuing care retirement community CCRC,with the concept of home-based elderly care,can ensure that the elderly still enjoy the care in their original community or residence in the event of the changes of their physical conditions,and can provide professional medical and nursing services for the elderly in a way combing medical service and health care.Taking the integration of Continuing care retirement community and China’s elderly care model as the research object,this thesis aims to study the basic concepts and the audiences with such research methods as literature research and the compilation of data,field survey and questionnaire survey,case analysis and simulation,and compare the differences between thiscommunity model at home and abroad through case analysis,thereby conducting in-depth planning and design strategy based on CCRC.In the end,the planning and design of new Continuing care retirement community in the Puping area of Xishan District,Kunming City is proposed in this thesis to respond to the research content here in before,in addition,relevant suggestions and guidance are put forward on the construction of the continuing care retirement community with Chinese characteristics,the development of this community model in Kunming and the development of Community for the aged in the post-epidemic era,in a bid to reveal the feasibility to implement such model in China.
