Workshop layout is one of the important issues of manufacturing system design process.Long-term production practice shows that the final results of equipment layout of manufacturing system operation process have great influence on the logistics cost,production efficiency,handling efficiency and practical capacity.Workshop layout design is a key step of logistics system design.Reasonable facilities layout design can improve the production efficiency,reduce manufacturing costs,and shorten production cycle.The project is divided into five sub-topics,namely Layout Design of Bogie's Parts Production Line,Layout Design of Bogie Assembly Line,Layout Design of Bogie's Wheel and Motor Assembly Line,Design of Bogie Assembly Platform,and Design of Gear Assembly Platform in Bogie's Wheel and Motor Assembly Line.With the researches and investigations,The subject of this article ensures the mutual position of the component units(section,the shift),working places,and equipment,combines production process,uses SLP method and ergonomics design criteria to analyze the logistics and non-logistics relationships on production line layout of the original bogie parts,calculated the close degree of each operating unit,formulate the comprehensive location-related maps and area-related plans.Thus,a reasonable and efficient one can be picked up from the factory layout schemes,which includes the position and area of manufacturing place and storage place.As a result,an organic integrity can be organized,which makes the flow of workforces,logistics,and information more smooth,reduces the movement cost of personnel and material,improves space utilization and the overall efficiency of the production process,and helps the manufacturing center lower manufacturing costs,and deals with the pressures of marketing,customers and competition to achieve management purposes.
