The Change Of Kitchen Space In The Contemporary Rural House In Changsha

Since the reform and opening up,great changes have taken place in rural areas and the volume of Farmer House construction in China is huge.The issue of rural area is the core of politics in China.In recent years,China's new rural construction is in full swing,but there are almost 700 million of Chinese's population still lives in rural areas.Most rural houses were built by themselves.It is an issue requiring urgent attention in architecture about how to understand and guide the rural house which is growing and changing.Rural kitchen is always the core of farmer's living space,and it is also one of the most important spaces that can reflect the rural lifestyle and living conditions.Stove is the core of the kitchen,and the type of stove is decided by the fuel.This paper analyses the relationship between fuel and oven,oven and kitchen,kitchen and rural house by means of investigation and research for more than 30 rural houses in Changsha.The Chapter 1 illuminates the Social and economic background,purpose,meaning,study areas and research methods of this paper.The Chapter 2 analysis the three stages of energy consumption in our country.The first stage is the acute shortage of rural energy consumption phase,the second stage is the basically meet the rural energy demand stage.The third stage is the diversification of rural energy consumption stage.This chapter also introduces the energy condition of Hunan and the energy consumption of rural houses in Changsha.The characteristics of energy consumption in investigation area are multi-energy complement,the proportion of commercial energy and high-quality energy consumption is growing.The Chapter 3 introduces the history and custom of the oven,and focuses on the investigation of the stove's type and changing,also analysis the use condition of the oven in the investigation area.The function of the oven is more and more simple.The volume of the oven is reduced.Multi-oven is a common phenomenon in rural kitchen.The chapter 4 analyzes the rural kitchen's space including kitchen's function,mass,location,and furniture arrangement.This chapter also introduced the equipment and facilities of rural kitchen.At last,this paper clarifies the process of rural kitchen's changing into three period,and through making models of the typical kitchen in every period to analysis their changing.The Chapter 5 introduces three update modes of rural house,and analysis the feature of the plane and elevation of rural houses.This chapter also analysis the composition of some important space in Farmer House which including Central Hall,Bedroom,Kitchen,Utility Room,Corral,Toilet,Living Room,Grain-sunning ground,etc.This chapter inquired into the area of each function space and their proportion in rural house and analysis the relationship between each function space of rural house.At last,this chapter summarizes the characteristic of the farmer house,and has a vision of the development of the rural house.At last,this paper made a summary of the article,and points out the limitation and shortcomings for architects to work in rural areas for a better life and living of peasants in China.
