In order to change the backward status of design methond for the hoisting mechanism of tower crane and speed up the pace of product replacement,the hoisting mechanism of tower crane is regarded as the research object,the reserach mainly focus on the optimal space layouts of the hoisting mechanism,the optimal parameters of hoisting mechanisms,gear drive system,the optimal space layouts of hoisting mechanisms'gear drive system and the optimal parameters of the coiling block.First,the general process of the hoisting mechanisms' space layout design was summarized and an abstract description method for functional demand and structural demand was presented.The solution principle of space layout schemes was introduced,an appropriate evaluation methond according to practical needs was established,and a best practical design scheme was given.Secondly,the parameter system optimization model of gear drive system was established and the parameter optimization and space layout optimization of gear drive system were achieved.In the process of modeling,The design variables,objective functions and constraints conditions for the corresponding transmission types were expressed detailly.At the same time,for coiling block,the optimization design model was presented.On the basis of previous theoretical basis,the systematized design was developed by using rapid design theory.In the design process,the original artificial independent design modeling was abandoned and the human-machine interaction design concept was applied.Based on the visiual interface design,built-in calculation procedure and optimization code,the calculation efficiency for the whole optimization design was improved.At the same time,it is convenient to examine,change and maintain modeling for designers.The visiual calculation system has good opening and desing flexibility.In the end,the reliability and feasibility of the visiual calculation system were validated by using example of hoisting mechanisms' deign.The results showed the parameter system optimization models and space layout optimization models for gear drive system and hoisting mechanism were reliable and feasible.The space volume of hoisting mechanism and coiling block were obviously reduced by comparing data before and after optimization.The results indicates that materials consumption for manufacturing products could be cut down and the optimization theories and methods for designing large tower crane hoisting mechanism are feasible.The theories and methods will play important roles in shortening R&D cycle,reducing R&D cost and improving market competitiveness of the products.The whole works in this thesis will play guiding roles in the process of hoisting mechanisms' design.
