In recent years,the number of road accidents has increase s rapidly with the increasing number of cars,Traffic injury has become a main factor that damaging children’s safety.According to some studies,the use of child safety seats is the most effective way to protect children’s safety.But there are still many problems in the use of children’s safety seats in China,such as the misuse rate is high,t he use rate is low,and so on.In order to make up the shortcomings that existing in the use of child safety seats,many research institutions have begun to design integrated child safety seats.The integrated child safety seat,also called build-in child safety seat,was designed integrated with the vehicle seat.It can meet different riding requirements of children and adults through the change of the seat,children were restrained by three-point seat belt.Because it was designed as a front-facing seat and only three-point seat belt can be used to restrict children,it can only meet the forward riding requirement for older children,and the comfort can’t meet the requirement.The protect effect for children is not good in side impact for there is no side protection device.A two-way ride integrated child safety seat for children aged from 3 months to 10 years old is presented and studied in this paper,it can realize two ride ways that rear-facing ride for young children and front-facing ride for older children.The five-point seat belt is installed on the child seat,so it can effectively protect the young children’s safety.The riding comfort is much higher than the existing integrated child safety seats.The structural design,physical processing,simulation analysis and test verification of the two-way ride integrated child safety seat has been completed in this paper.The seat simulation model and the child multi-rigid body constrained system model were developed,and child safety seat coupling simulation model were established by the method of Ls-dyna and MADYMO Coupling,including rear-facing ride and front-facing ride models.than simulation research was completed,Q1.5、Q3 and Q6 child dummy were selected as research objects in this paper.The influences of the key design parameters of the seat,such as the stiffness of children ’s safety belt,the location of shoulder strap of children’s safety belt and the angle of the seat back were studied.Three side impact simulation models of different re straint systems were established,and the protect effect for child occupants in side impact was compared and analyzed.The results show that the two-way ride integrated child safety seat can effectively provide protection for children from 3 months to 10 years old.The research results of the study had reference value on the study of children passenger safety.
