In the continuous development of urban traffic, urban railway and urban rail transit are divided into different levels by functional logic. The urban railway mainly serves the long-distance travel between the urban center and the suburb, and the urban rail transit serves the short-distance travel within the inner city. However, with the continuous expansion of the city scale and the increase of urban commuting, the urban railway also takes on the urban commuting needs, which needs to meet urban integration traffic needs. At present, the urban railway generally ends at the outskirts of the city,if it do like that the railway usually transfer to the urban rail transit at the outskirts of the city for the purpose of get to the inner city,it will take a lot of unnecessary time to.Especially during the rush hour, the transfer scale is huge, which can cause the great congestion and security risks of the transfer station. The through operation refers to the mode of transport organization that allows trains to continue from one line to another on the two or more rail transit lines connected to each other. This article is based on the through operation of trains in urban areas as a background, focusing on issues such as operational organization and implementation evaluation. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)According to the differences of the line and all the main bodies of the vehicle, the classification method of one-way rail through operation and mutual rail through operation is proposed.Through the analysis of typical cases of different types of through operations and operational characteristics,it is found that most of the existing through operations use mutual rails, and the unified control enables the two parties to utilize each other’s capabilities.(2)Based on the actual through operation case, analyze the implementation effect of the through operation, and discuss the changes in the interests of passengers and operating companies through the through operation. For passengers, the travel time after the through operation is shortened, and the perceived impact of the transfer time is greater than the travel time; For operating companies, the main effect of rail through operation is the increase in the passenger number, remission of terminal station and parallel line congestion, the chain reaction of the delay in other line accident, and line capacity reduction.(3)The method of discriminating the applicability of through operations is proposed, and the variation regularity of the passenger flow threshold with transfer time and time value is analyzed. The time-shortening effect, operating company cost, andline passing ability are regarded as the key indicators affecting through operation decision-making.The calculation methods are studied and the impact of specific factor changes on key indicators is analyzed. To establish the mathematical model of frequency and interval determined under mutual rail through operation,to explore the conditions for facilitating the parties to reach a consensus on through operation, and to analyze the effect of rail through interval with the characteristics of a rail passenger flow distribution. The greater the exchange of passengers between urban lines, the longer the transfer time, and the greater the potential for passenger flow growth, the more suitable it is to use through operations, and it is recommended that consideration be given to the conditions for through operation during the planning and design phase of the route. The smaller the station spacing, the less the cost to realize the through operation In order to reduce the impact on the line passing capacity, the through operation train should adopt the same running speed as the train on the rail line. When the passenger flow of city-area railways and urban-orbit transit rail transits are decreasing, the operation of through operation has the best effect, and passengers and operating companies are likely to reach a consensus on the choice of through operation. |
