Facing environment and energy problems,energy recovery has attracted widespread attention for energy saving and emission reduction.The paper focuses on the energy recovery system of the excavator boom with the integrated hydraulic generation unit as the core component.The main contents are summarized as follows.(1)The background of energy recovery system in construction machinery and its development are introduced.The advantages and disadvantages of various energy recovery methods are analyzed.Use an integrated solution and achieve maximum energy recovery through power conversion regulation.(2)Simulate the excavator's actuators for energy recovery.a 40 s standard operating condition was defined.The AMEsim simulation model under standard conditions was established,and the recoverable energy and the proportion of each actuator were obtained.The excavator boom mechanism was used as the energy recovery research object.(3)Integrated design method is developed.Based on the analysis of integrated structure evolution,a novel structure is proposed by mounting a Halbach permanent array on the barrel of a hydraulic motor.According to the common characteristics of structure integration,both models of power match and electromagnetic design are developed.A prototype is fabricated after parameter design and optimization.An integrated hydraulic power unit test bench was built and the performance of the prototype was tested under different conditions.(4)The energy maximization theory is analyzed.Establish the whole energy recovery system schematic diagram and the dynamic mathematical model of th e integrated hydraulic electric generation unit;Through the modeling of the entire energy recovery system,the mathematical model found that when the system is in a steady state,The inlet pressure of the integrated hydraulic electric generation unit is basically linear with the duty cycle,and the inlet pressure is related to the rotation speed.(5)Simulink analysis and experimental analysis to the energy recovery system is performed.It is determined that the energy recovery by the boom cylinder can be simulated;The buck chopper circuit was designed and the feasibility of the buck chopper circuit was determined through experiments.The Simulink static simulation,dynamic simulation and pressure tracking simulation were performed.Finally,a static test was performed on the simulated energy recovery system.The test results were basically consistent with the simulation.The integrated hydraulic electric generation unit is proposed in the paper and the theory and method of based on flow-pressure tracking not only have certain theoretical and practical significance for excavators and engineering machinery,but also can be hydraulically driven wind power generation,wave power generation,etc.
