The large void characteristics of Drainage Pavement make it have good performance such as drainage,noise reduction,traffic safety and so on.Therefore,after it was introduced to China,it developed rapidly,and the spreading range was gradually spread from light and fast traffic to expressway.However,the rapid growth of China's transportation and increasing axle load make it more and more severe to the drainage pavement,Thus,it appears many kinds of diseases such as raveling,overcompaction and ruts,Therefore,it is of great significance to study porous asphalt mixture for heavy load traffic.This paper surveys the experience of the development and application of porous asphalt pavement at domestic and abroad,and the problems and challenges of Drainage pavement under heavy traffic condition.Based on the above survey,the forms and causes of Drainage Pavement diseases under heavy load conditions are analyzed,and the material requirements and key design points of porous asphalt mixture design process are summarized.After investigation,the load characteristics of heavy traffic and the typical structure and mechanical parameters of the drainage pavement are determined.In order to explore the stress and strain characteristics of drained pavement structure under load,Abaqus was conducted to obtain the stress and strain state of porous asphalt pavement under the standard load to find out the disadvantageous position.In order to explore the stress and strain level of the disadvantageous position of The tires on both sides of the drainage surface under different heavy load levels,use Abaqus finite element analysis software to analyze the stress and deformation inside the lower layer under different load levels,so as to determine the material requirements under the corresponding load level.On the basis of studying the skeleton type and strength forming mechanism of porous asphalt mixture,the key points of mixture design are determined,namely high quality asphalt binder,mineral aggregate and stable skeleton interlocked-denseness structure.The filling interference law of the aggregate and the partition principle of the coarse and fine aggregate of the mixture is determined is studied by the sphere Accumulation model.Based on the domestic and foreign asphalt mixture design method,respectively,adopt the coarse aggregate penetration test and aggregate VCA test to determine mechanical index and volume index of asphalt mixture coarse aggregate skeleton stability test evaluation to obtain the best grades of coarse aggregate ratio;Based on engineering experience and research conclusions,high viscosity asphalt formula,coarse aggregate and fiber were selected,and the mixture ratio design of heavy duty drainage asphalt mixture with different skeleton density was carried out by means of SGC rotary compactor and volume method.Under the premise of the void ratio and the leakage rate,all meet the requirements of the design,compare The Marshall stability cantabro raveling rate and TSR to optimum the best Skeleton density of the coarse aggregate and the gradation of porous asphalt mixture.Finally the design of heavy load porous asphalt mixture drainage function,high and low temperature performance and dynamic modulus and other properties were tested,to focus on the most commonDiseases of pavement drainage of large raveling test to verify the anti raveling ability,initially proposed large raveling test evaluation method of porous asphalt mixture.The results show that the designed drainage asphalt mixture has excellent performance and road performance.
