Research On The Competitiveness And Improvement Path Of China's New Energy Vehicles Industry

New-energy vehicles(NEV)industry is a kind of emerging industry with knowledge intensive technology,little resources consumption,high growth potential,and comprehensive benefit,it plays a leading role of and long-term development of national economy.Since the financial crisis,countries have been applied to develop NEV to revive the domestic economy.At present,China is in the new normal period of industrial transformation,formulating and promoting the NEV should be the focus of the future economic development.First of all,the NEV industry is conducive to promoting the transformation and upgrading of China's industrial structure and accelerating the elimination of backward industrial capacity.Secondly,the NEV industry is conducive to helping China seize the "commanding heights" of the world economy and technology.Finally,the NEV industry is not only beneficial to relieve the demand of energy,reduce the environmental pollution,and reduce the dependence on oil import,but also optimize the energy structure,safeguard national interests.Therefore,it is very urgent to develop NEV industry in our country.At present,the NEV industry of China is developing rapidly,but the development of NEV industry in different regions is unbalanced due to differences in economy,environment and population.While the NEV industry growing rapidly,each region also has some problems to be solved,such as imbalance in the structure of new energy cars,short range,high manufacturing costs and backward fundamental facilities.Based on the NEV industry of our country's major provinces and cities,this study carried on the competitiveness research of NEV industry.First,we analyzed the current situation of the NEV industry.Secondly,based on the summary of the relevant researches,we have listed a NEV industry competitiveness evaluation index by using the principal component analysis.Then we assessed the NEV industry competitiveness in 24 provinces.According to our research conclusions,we find that province Guangdong has the strongest competitiveness in China's NEV industry,and proved that the NEV promotion,production scale,technical level and supporting industry development are the important factors that affect the industrial competitiveness.Finally,based on the present situation analysis and the empirical results,the paper puts forward policy Suggestions from three aspects: technological development,private promotion and industry gathering.
