| Environmental problems and energy shortage have increasingly become a worldwide problem that affects human development.Many countries and regions are in the threat of air pollution,and one of the sources of air pollution is vehicle emissions,which makes more and more countries realize that the development of new energy vehicles is the best way to deal with this problem.Another important reason of developing new energy vehicles is that with the development of human industrial society,excessive resource exploitation has resulted in the depletion of fossil resources.Japan as automobile industrial power with a long history,has been troubled by the lack of energy resources and economic development of the environmental pollution and other problems,so in the early 1960 s,the development of new energy vehicles has been ascend to the height of the national strategic issues.After a long period of exploration,Japan has implement a lot of detailed regulations in the strategic planning,financial subsidies,tax reduction and exemption,etc.And good development results have been achieved.This paper studies the new energy vehicle industry of Japan.Firstly,it introduces the research background and significance,and then points out the innovation points and shortcomings of this research on the basis of sorting out relevant literature.Next,the concept of new energy vehicles and industrial competitiveness is explained,and the theoretical basis of this paper is determined.In order to analyze the industrial competitiveness of Japan’s new energy vehicles more comprehensively,this paper discusses the development process and current situation of Japan’s new energy vehicle industry.Then,based on the diamond model,the factors that affect the competitiveness of Japan’s new energy vehicle industry are analyzed from five perspectives: production factors,demand conditions,relevant supporting industries,enterprise strategic structure and industry competition,government role and technological innovation ability.Entering the empirical analysis part,through considering the applicability of the model,the representativeness of indicators and the collectability of data,after repeated thinking and compare,choosing five dimensions and 18 indexes to establish the new energy automotive industry competitiveness evaluation system.And combine analytic hierarchy process and entropy value method,through data processing,it is concluded that Japan has excellent performance in new energy vehicle technology innovation capabilities and related supporting industries,and its performance in demand conditions and government function are also above average.Next,the experience of developing new energy vehicles in Japan is summarized and the future trend of developing new energy vehicles in Japan is predicted.Finally,according to the development status of China’s new energy vehicles,it pointed out the problems of industrial development,and in order to further enhance the competitiveness of China’s new energy vehicles industry,constructive suggestions are put forward. |
