While rapidly developing economic construction, the Chinese government pays attention to the people's health and well-being index and regards it as one of the important indicators for assessment and development.Hospital construction has entered a period of high tide. The hospital,as an indispensable building in daily life, belongs to a comprehensive large-scale public infrastructure and has a major impact on people's livelihood, economy, and society.Due to its own function, the hospital is the second largest energy-intensive building, second only to the food service industry. At the same time, the “Circular on Printing and Discharging Carbon Reduction Development Action Plan for 2014-2015” issued by the General Office of the State Council in 2014 forced the government agencies of state agencies and government-invested museums, hospitals, and schools to invest in the public welfare of the government.Large-scale public buildings adopt green buildings in construction, and more and more green hospital buildings will be built.Excessive pursuit of the enjoyment of the senses by human beings and unrestrained development make hospital buildings not only serve as a place to treat diseases and save people, but also bring tremendous pressure on resources and the environment. Therefore,it is imperative to develop green hospital buildings. In order to make green hospital buildings more practical in practical applications, many countries have developed their own evaluation systems based on their own characteristics, and have provided decision-making basis for decision makers of architectural designers and projects through qualitative and quantitative descriptions.China's green hospital building evaluation standards started late, and its perfection and optimization are imminent. This article first introduces the basic contents of the existing green hospital building evaluation system both at home and abroad.Based on the principle of comparability, thestudy selects the United States LEED HC standard, uses the literature research method, comparative analysis method, etc.,and compares the US LEED HC standard with China's green hospital building evaluation standard.Based on comparisons from the perspective of the life cycle, four aspects of evaluation scope, evaluation methods, evaluation contents, and certification system were studied and analyzed. It was concluded that the setting, weights, and deficiencies of the indicators in the evaluation system of the green hospital building evaluation system in China.Offices, lack of government regulatory strength, lack of authority of certification bodies, inefficient certification processes, and lack of certification personnel qualification system.Combining our country's reality,we have proposed suggestions for optimizing the evaluation index and strengthening the responsibilities of government departments in China's green hospital building evaluation system. We will improve the certification model by improving third-party evaluation agencies, improving the information authentication process, and building certification personnel training and assessment. The mechanism made suggestions and looked forward to making some contribution to the development of green hospitals.
