In the history of Western art,art and architectural creation have always been closely linked and infiltrated.At different stages of development,architecture has absorbed,to a certain degree,contemporary art creations,especially the expressions and creative techniques of paintings.Constantly enriched materials in paintings and techniques have broadened the expression of architectural design and creative ideas.Cubism art movement is one of the most important and most radical movements and art schools in Western modern times.There is no doubt that its artistic ideas and practice have epoch-making significance in space and modeling,and for the later birth of many modern art schools,for architectural creation.The influence of tactics is extraordinary.Cubist architecture is considered the beginning of modern architecture.In the Czech Republic in the early 20 th century,some architects tried to turn the cubist painting art into architectural language.The direct translation of these creative techniques in architecture promoted the further development of architectural design,resulting in the uniqueness of the Czech Republic.Cubist architecture with period features.This article focuses on the practice of cubism in the Czech Republic in the early 20 th century and on the creation of Czech Cubist architecture.Firstly,based on the more detailed historical data research,this paper studies the historical origins of the Czech Cubist architecture through horizontal comparison between the Gothic architecture of the Czech Republic and the Baroque architecture and the Cubist architecture,and discusses the Cubist architecture of the Czech Republic in chronological order.The origin of the arts;secondly,the use of architects' commitment and cooperation to sort out the emergence,development,and demise of Cubist architecture in the Czech Republic;after that,it discusses the cubist art that had had an important influence on modernist architecture in the early 20 th century.The depth of the analysis of cubist painting's creative techniques and works of art was analyzed.At the same time,this article tries to analyze and explain the creation ideas and design methods of Cubist architecture through analysis of Cubist architectural examples that briefly prevailed in the Czech Republic in the early 20 th century.It also analyzes and contrasts Cubist art and the creation of cubist architecture in the Czech Republic.The technique sums up the “spatial stratification” and “overlay” architectural creation techniques of the cubist architecture in the Czech Republic,and makes detailed analysis of representative architects and their works.“Spatial stratification” is to replace the space in the cubist art stratification with a real and perceivable space,that is,the perception of the gap space in which the viewpoint or the direction of motion advances or retreats;the “superimposition” in the cubism architecture of the Czech Republic is Transformed from the tactics of cubism collage,it is mainly reflected in the shaping of architectural forms,including building facades and interior shapes and plane forms.Finally,the selection and analysis of some modern architectures,postmodern architectures,and contemporary architecture examples illustrate the development and evolution of the Czech cubist architecture in modern and contemporary architecture.
