Today,with the continuous development of economy and technology,the field of industrial control in traditional manufacturing is gradually moving toward intelligence and informationization.In the background of Industry 4.0 and China Manufacturing 2025,the industry is adapting to the development trend of "Internet+" and creating new formats in manufacturing to achieve a target of "manufacturing strong country.At the same time,more and more companies are recognizing the importance of humanized design of production lines for the improvement of corporate efficiency.This paper chooses the Proface touch screen interface of automatic production line as the research object,and improves the efficiency of the automated production line,user satisfaction and other indicators through its usability research,and provides methodological guidance for the interface design practice of related products.The main research work of this paper is as follows:First of all,this study has reviewed a large number of journal articles and monographs on the usability of human-machine interfaces,and summarized how to determine usability evaluation indicators,usability evaluation testing methods at home and abroad,and usability evaluation methods based on typical tasks.At the same time,this paper sorts out the research results of the three aspects of usability evaluation theory,usability evaluation method and usability evaluation index system in recent years,which lays a theoretical foundation for this research.Secondly,in order to fully construct the usability evaluation system and influencing factors of the Proface touch screen interface,the factory production line survey was conducted in the early stage of the research.The specific work is carried out from the automatic line process,the touch screen interface function and operation process,the user and work tasks,and the work environment.Based on the previous theoretical summary,this paper initially proposed 34 indicators for the usability evaluation of Proface touch screen interface.Thirdly,this study screened 34 indicators through the questionnaire of the seven-order Likert scale and the reliability and validity analysis of the questionnaire,removed 5 low-validity indicators,and finally constructs a usability evaluation index system for the Proface touch screen interface which is based on 29 indicators.According to the results of the satisfaction survey,4 indicators(industrial sense,balance,error recovery,color)have lower satisfaction scores.And after linear regression analysis of the data,eight indicators(simple,consistency,information acquisition,effectiveness,adaptation,diversity,color,regularity)that have a positive impact on the overall satisfaction indicator are obtained.Combined with users'one-on-one interviews,the problems and design suggestions for interface usability are finally compiled.Finally,based on the usability issues and design suggestions presented above,this paper redesigns the Proface touch screen interface,conducts performance tests and user subjective evaluations for ordinary users and target users,and compares with the original design.The results show that the improved Proface touch screen interface has been promoted in usability level.
