Western Hubei area is in the hot summer and cold region of our country,adjacent to the heating area,and there are hot summer and cold winter weather.In previous studies on the thermal comfort of hot summer and cold winters,they mainly focused on summer heat prevention.However,in the study of winter heat preservation,they also studied the urban residence as the research object,and the study on the winter insulation design in rural areas was less.The economical and geographical location of rural areas can not be used as the way of self-heating in the city,so it is necessary to study energy efficient housing suitable for local conditions.With the development of economy in recent years,the heating of rural residential buildings in cold summer and cold winter will become an inevitable trend.The rural population in this area is large,the housing quantity is large,the thermal performance of the construction peripheral shield structure is poor,and the large amount of heating will inevitably result in the sharp consumption of energy.Therefore,it is of great significance to optimize the design of rural residential buildings in this area.This paper firstly investigated the rural areas of western Hubei.It records the basic situation of housing in rural areas by taking photos,mapping,interviews and questionnaires.It learned about the production and lifestyle of local villagers and summarized existing problems in the area.The software ecotect simulates the temperature of local residential buildings on the hottest days and coldest days in history.Through simulation results to the local extreme weather in winter indoor temperature is lower,the highest temperature of less than 7?;Extreme weather in the summer,indoor temperature is above 30 ? throughout the day.Indoor cannot satisfy a healthy living environment.Secondly,according to the existing problems in rural areas,the design strategy of residential energy saving is proposed.It mainly presents specific optimization measures from architectural orientation,architectural layout,thermal insulation design of peripheral protection structure,reference to the way of heating in the north and the utilization of solar energy.It through ecotect software design of thermal insulation of external retaining structure simulation,the results found after improvement of residential indoor heating in winter,the envelope heat loss caused by cut in half.It combines the summer heat insulation of the peripheral structure to determine the optimal solution.Finally,according to the specific optimization strategy of chapter 4,several energy-saving residences in different living modes are designed.It fully respect the local residents in the design way of life and production,a large number of using renewable resources of solar energy,and the heating means kang and hot wall in the north and the heating way of the local union.It is hoped that this design scheme can provide a reference for the design of the rural residential buildings in the cold and hot summer climate.
