Pit and trough is one of the common diseases of asphalt pavement with the characteristics of fast development and wide distribution,the traditional method of repairing pit and trough disease by using hot mix asphalt mixture is easy to be affected by climate and the size of pits.Cold patch asphalt mixture has the advantages of long storage time,easy construction and all-weather operation,which make it favored by the road maintenance department.In recent years,researchers have carried out a great deal of research on cold supplementary materials,there are various types of cold supplement products on the market,but due to the lack of scientifically unified methods and indicators for evaluating the road performance of cold patch asphalt mixtures,the quality of cold supplementary materials is uneven,problems such as large early material deformation,poor water stability and durability are prominent.This topic launches research in two main aspects to solve the widespread problems of cold supplementary material,one is to analyze the mechanism of repairing materials theoretically,the other is to study the road performance of cold patch asphalt mixture.In theoretical analysis,this paper,based on the damage mechanism of the pit and holes and the strength formation mechanism of cold supplementary material,analyzes the causes of pit and trough disease and the factors influencing the strength of asphalt mixture,and sums up the structural stress characteristics of the repairing material.Through the theoretical analysis of the action mechanism of the pit-repairing material,three kinds of cold supplement products are selected to study their road performance and the influencing factors.First of all,the paper defines the road performance of cold-fill asphalt mixture.Secondly,this paper designs laboratory test methods from low temperature performance,asphalt and aggregate adhesion,compressive properties and water stability,and evaluates the road performance of cold supplementary materials by adopting temperature performance grade,asphalt coating rate,vertical deformation,the ratio of asphalt coating ratio as evaluating indicators.A new evaluation system is established,and the influence of the composition ratio of asphalt cold rehydration,the grading of mineral materials and the time of material preservation on the performance of cold feeding road is studied.On the basis of theoretical analysis and laboratory experiment,this paper summarizes the production,storage and construction technology of cold supplementary material,and verifies the scientificity and rationality of new cold-feeding road performance evaluating method and indicators according to the results by following up on repair cases.
