Satisfaction Evaluation And Design Study Of Night Activities In Urban Riverside Parks

With the various forms of urban activities,the demand for night-time activities of urban residents has been increasing.It has become a problem for the society to provide residents with good landscape perception and recreational environment at night.The urban riverside parks often run through the city,and the belt-shaped green land are built along the river water,providing residents with a perfect places for night sightseeing.At the same time,the city riverside parks have also served as a postcard for showing the city culture image,and carrying extremely rich landscape information.It has the function of open space pattern,ecological restoration and landscape healing.It is an important investigation of the nighttime activity space satisfaction of the city riverside park,which can enhance the experience quality of tourists and highlight the cultural characteristics of the city tourism.Satisfaction survey can understand the visitor’s expectation before visiting the activity space,and perceived performance after the experience.It can compare to explore the direct and indirect reasons that the changes of the tourists’ psychological state.Domestic and foreign researches on the satisfaction of landscape tourism have had a number of research results.However,the study on the satisfaction of the nighttime is still lacking.This study had regarded the riverside park along the Min Jiang River in Fuzhou as the study object,and regarded the environmental psychology and behavioristics as the theoretical basis.First of all,a pre-survey has been conducted on the environmental factors(including light pollution,noise,safety factors,etc.)of the City Riverside Park event space and its surrounding areas at night.It has analyzed the behavioral characteristics of tourists’ nighttime recreation,and studied the preferences of tourists’ nighttime activities.Secondly,it has summarized the influence factors of tourists’ nighttime activity satisfaction and constructed a satisfaction evaluation system.Then,three riverside parks of different design styles would be divided into several spaces.The importance and satisfaction of each activity space was investigated and made the IPA analysis during the nighttime activity period defined by this study.Finally,it has put forward reasonable design strategies and guiding suggestions for the nighttime activity space of the riverside park in the city.
