Customization Design Of Paper Notebooks For Special Populations (People With Disability)

With the development of the economy and the improvement of living standard,people’s demand for products has also changed.Facing a number of paper notebooks with similar-appearing in the current market,people willing to pursuit products which designed with differentiation and individuation.They put emphasis on spiritual and emotional needs rather than on their basic writing needs.Indeed,beyond the meaning of a method or a tool,the design should bear a social responsibility,which not only serves the majority of people but also pay attention to special populations who need more care and help.This thesis analyzes the value and advantages of paper notebooks based on their actual background,and then introduces the design pattern of customization.The necessity of innovative design of paper notebooks becomes clear after understanding the definition of customization.Base on the collection and analysis of existed customized design cases,this thesis discusses and make an approach to the trend of customization of paper notebooks--thus,the designer should pay more attention to customers’ specific needs and provide products with both unique experience and beauty taste based on the functionality and practicability.The emotional value also should become a special evaluation standard for well-designed paper notebooks.Besides on the deep development of emotionally and humanity,customization design should take the variety group of users into account.The needs of people with disability shouldn’t be neglected.By the convenience using experience from well-detail designed customization paper notes,the special populations would feel comfortable physically and satisfied psychologically.Finally,this paper emphasizes the practicability value and emotionally meaning of customization design again.Thus the customization paper notebooks should bear more spiritual function which could bring more support and tolerant to the special populations.
