Development And Protection Research Of Ancient Village Landscape In The Tea-horse Road

With the increasing accelerations of urbanization in China,more and more population are cramming into the city,causing the suburbanization of traditional ancient villages.As a result,some landscapes of the ancient villages has begun to imitate the modern commercial landscape buildings in the physical forms and abandoned original outlooks,thus leading to the cultural losses,which has put the cultural landscape of these ancient villages at the risk of fault and convergence and at the predicament of similarity.Therefore,it is very imperative to understand and search in the right way the design techniques to develop and protect the ancient villages landscape.This paper is composed by six parts,and they are separately the introduction,overview of the tea-horse road and the protection of ancient villages landscapes,design techniques research in the development and protection of ancient village landscape in the tea-horse road,element analysis of the landscape in ancient Shaxi village of Yunnan,elaboration on the development and protection plan of new post areas in ancient Shaxi village,as well as the conclusion.Through the methodologies of documents research,generalization and summarization,actual case comparison analysis,the author has started from relevant conceptions and elements of ancient tea-horse road cultural landscape,for the purpose of sustainable design research involving the culture of ancient tea-horse road,to explore the landscape elements in the ancient tea-horse road culture and put the dispersive ancient tea-horse road culture landscapes together,point to face,so as to protect the integrity of the ancient tea-horse road.The author has taken the development and protection design of the new post areas in ancient Shaxi village as the example,extracting the landscape elements of ancient Shaxi village and combing them with the cultural symbols of the road,to conduct the sustainable planning design in the new post house of ancient Shaxi village.And research design in this paper is mainly through following points.Firstly,this paper has made deep research in the geographical environment of the new postareas in ancient Shaxi village,and classified and analyzed the original cultural characteristics of the ancient village.Then in the help of sustainable landscape design techniques,this paper has made extraction,expression and design on it.Finally,taking into account the local materials and craftsmanship,the paper creates the sustainable landscape planning for the ancient village cultureThe design is based on the natural factors in the ancient Shaxi village like landforms,natural water systems and climatic environment.Combing some cultural landscape elements of the tea-horse road,especially integrating with local distinctive cultural landscape elements,this paper has created the sustainable landscapes planning design,full of characteristics of the tea-horse road,for the new post house of ancient Shaxi village,to provide some reference for the development and protection design of ancient villages in future.
