The highly efficient urban rail transit,which possesses the superiority of large capacity and small cost in energy,has become the first choice to solve the urban traffic congestion.With the gradual forming of urban rail transit network,the network characteristics are becoming increasingly obvious.Joint Operation of urban rail transit reduces the transfer of passengers,realizes the resources sharing and improves level of network through the line sharing,.With the expansion of the city,the passenger demand between the central city and suburb is ever increasing,the area that urban rail transit covers extends from central city to suburb.The Y-type lines can not only meet the needs of passenger volume,but also save the scarce resources.So this paper pay close attention on Joint Operation of urban rail transit and the train operation plan for Y-type lines,and mainly includes the following contents:(1)The paper classify Joint Operation of urban rail transit with the analysis of the concept of it,and analyze the passenger flow's characteristics in different types of Joint Operation of urban rail transit.According to analysis,the paper summarizes relative merits and applicable conditions of Joint Operation of urban rail transit.(2)Based on the analysis of the formation cause of Y-type lines,the dissertation summarizes influence factors of making train operation plan for Y-type lines.Combine with practical cases,the paper summarizes relative merits and applicable conditions of the train operation plan for Y-type lines.(3)Optimizing model for the train operation plan for Y-type lines is set which takes the least travelling time of passengers,the shortest train operation distance and the minimum train operation time as the objective function and takes the train frequencies of long and short train routing and the locations of short routing's turn-back stations as decision variables and considers the minimum frequency,the maximum frequency and the constraints about train load as constraint conditions.The purpose of optimizing model is to reduce the passengers' total waiting time while safeguarding the transport company's benefits.(4)Taking a Y-type line in City H for instance,to attain the optimization model for Y-type lines in H city,the genetic algorithm is exploited.It is indicated in the plan results that the passenger's weight value on waiting time is in direct proportion to train operation distance,train operation time,and the average short train route load rate;namely,when passenger values more on the waiting time,the above figures increase,while passenger waiting time and the average long train route load rate decreases.Then,the dissertation compares the optimal train operation plan,the train operation plan that the branch is on separate operation and the train operation plan that the branch has fully straight-through operation.The result show that: the train operation distance,the trainoperation time and the average long train route load rate increases from the optimal train operation plan to the train operation plan that the branch has fully straight-through operation,while passenger waiting and the average short train route load rate decreases.The passenger waiting time increases from the optimal train operation plan to the train operation plan that the branch is on separate operation while the train operation distance and the train operation time decreases.And the difference in load rate between the long train route and short train route is large because the difference in passenger flow is large.(5)Selecting the upper bound of the train load rate and the location of short routing's turn-back stations as influence factors to do relevant analysis.The result show that: train operation distance,train operation time increases,while passenger waiting time decreases with increasing of the upper bound of the train load rate.The passenger waiting time and the average long train route load rate increases,while train operation distance,train operation time and the average short train route load rate decreases with the location of short routing's turn-back stations moving close to the node station of Y-type line.
