With the development of society, the country has increasingly attached importance to the construction of community service systems. In order to solve the problem of serious delays in the construction of public service facilities in the existing communities in the old urban areas, the state and local governments have successively introduced relevant policies to improve the configuration and service quality of community facilities in the old urban areas. At present, there are serious shortcomings in the construction of community service system in Guangzhou's old urban areas. There are widespread problems in the construction of public service facilities, such as imbalances in supply and demand, inefficient use,and insufficient participation of residents;while the construction of community commercial facilities has a lack of system planning and public Insufficient space, lower grades and other issues. To this end,the Guangzhou Municipal Government is implementing an urban renewal policy and implementing two methods of overall transformation and micro-transformation in parallel to adjust the existing planning structure of the old city and improve the overall construction level of community service facilities through community renewal. At the same time, the emerging domestic community complex model has tremendous development advantages in promoting urban land intensive,one-stop supply of community services, and community commercial differentiation. In order to solve the practical contradiction between the urgent needs of residents in the old city community to fully update the community service facilities and the current state of community construction, the introduction of the community complex model is a new approach to the renewal of the old city. This article is based on this background, through relevant issues, theories and case studies, summed up the development model and construction standard system of the community complex, and developed the design guidelines for the community complex based on the combination of current norms and practical cases, and combined with Guangzhou The case design of the community renovation of Shayuan Street Community and Spare Street has explored the issue of how the community complex model responds to the overall renovation of service facilities in the Old City community in Guangzhou.Research and construction of the overall design framework,an orderly and clear description of how to build a community complex in the context of Guangzhou city renewal, including the interpretation of public policy, determine the transformation of objects, determine the function configuration, select transformation methods, develop design strategies, planning Design, carry out 8 aspects of architectural design.Among them, interpreting the public policy includes the interpretation of relevant policies of Guangzhou urban renewal and community service facilities construction;determining the targets of transformation including the considerations of regional and community-level factors;determining the function configuration including judging the types of buildings and community needs; The approaches include the overall transformation and micro-reconstruction approaches and the formulation of related transformation strategies;the planning and design aspects include the planning of spatial layout and the organization of moving lines;the architectural design includes the spatial design and elevation design of the reconstructed buildings. The construction of the overall design framework system has certain theoretical and practical significance for the design of community complexes in the renewal of Guangzhou's old cities. Finally, the article also summarizes and looks forward to the problems and shortcomings found in the research.
