China in 1999 to enter the aging society,and the proportion of the elderly population is still increasing year by year,China will be long in an aging society.And the elderly because of their own physical and psychological characteristics,for the material and psychological elements have put forward higher requirements,scholars need to conduct more in-depth study.The paper chooses the elderly and the cold land as the main breakthrough point of residential space research.Because the elderly themselves have a serious decline in physical function and social positions after leaving society seriously reduced the situation,and outdoor activities can not only maintain the elderly body function at the same time,but also provides the opportunity for older people to interact with others,should be as the elderly daily life An important part.And because of our "9073”pension pattern and the elderly's own wishes,most of the elderly will adopt the old-age pension model.Residential outdoor space has become the main outdoor activities of the elderly places,so the architect of the design of living space and the attention of the elderly is of great significance.While the cold winter has a long outdoor temperature is relatively low,the winter precipitation in the form of snow-based climate characteristics,especially for outdoor activities,especially on the ability to respond to the elderly and the impact of outdoor activities greater impact.Therefore,in the study of the outdoor living space of the elderly,the cold land should be considered as a special restriction.In the selection of the research object,the outdoor space of the residential area is divided into square space,road space and node space according to the different types of activities of the elderly in the outdoor space of the residential area.According to the different influencing factors and activities of the three types of space,six cold settlements were selected as the main research objects of the paper.(POE)as the main research system to facilitate the systematic and scientific study of the demand for outdoor space activities of the elderly residents in cold areas.The post-use post-evaluation research mainly includes two parts,one is the evaluation of the use of the way,the six cold areas of the three types of space were prc-research,and finally selected a number of representative of the space,The elderly residents of the use of the elements of the state and likes and dislikes,understand the needs of the elderly and build space on the demand for support to qualitative research.Second,the evaluation of satisfaction,through the collection and statistics of the elderly residents of the space and space elements of the importance of the judge,to quantify the weight of space and space elements,through the SD semantic design questionnaire options to quantify the elderly residents of the elements of satisfaction And finally calculate the overall satisfaction of the elderly residents in the outdoor space of the cold area,with quantitative research.By summarizing the use of the three types of outdoor space in the six typical cold areas and the study on the overall satisfaction of the outdoor space in the cold area,this paper puts forward the three types of spatial and spatial elements in the outdoor space Design strategies and principles to provide guidance for the design of outdoor space in the cold area.And the typical and representative space in the three types of spaces in the six typical cold areas are designed to follow the above strategies and principles to make them more in line with the needs of the elderly.
