A Study On The Post Occupancy Evaluation And Countermeasure Of The Elderly In Nanchang Parkland

Human society has been faced a common problem of the aging of the population.China had steped into the ranks of “aging”countries.Park green space is an important part of the urban environment,with ecological balance,beautifying environment,disaster prevention,and also is the most frequent and dependent activities places for the elderly.How to make ubran park green space satisfy the special needs of the elderly and improve the quality of life of the elderly?Now it has become a problem that can not be ignored.Taking Bayi Park and People Park as a case,and studying the using of park green space in Nanchang from the angle of special population-the elderly,applying post occupancy evaluation.Through combining the methods of investigations,interviews and questionnaires,I have taken a detailed investigation,to understand the the elderly using the park’s facilities and the typical activities,and to analysis the problems of the elderly in the park.Finally,I have analyzed the results of the two park questionnaires including the fundamental information of the elderly,the characteristics of the using,the satisfaction evaluation,the difference.The results show that the elderly are more concerned about the park’s activities venues and related facilities.The satisfaction of Renmin park is higher than the overall satisfaction of Bayi park,because of the richness of park facilities and the diversity of activities.The elderly have the highest satisfaction with the plant landscapes of two parks.The elderly have the highest demands for the resting facilities and fitness facilities of the park,and they hope that the park will strengthen the management and improve the facilities.To be conclusion,the different age and the frequency of the park have an impact on the satisfaction of the park evaluation factors,and analysis the same and differences between the two parks.Summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the park,in order to provide the basis for the park green space optimization strategy.The paper concludes that the construction of park green space in Nanchang should follow the principles of integrity,accessibility,spatial diversity,safety,suitability,static and dynamic combination,barrier design principles and so on.According to the principle and then putting the corresponding optimization strategy.At the design level,it has made clear requirementst of optimizing the natural elements,artificial elements,service facilities elements.And at the management level,we should actively enhance the awareness the influence of aging,complete the laws and regulations,reinforce the management,improve the awareness of services.
