Research On The Application And Development Hindrance Factors Of BIM Technology In Chinese Architectural Design Field

Building Information Modeling(BIM)is another revolutionary computer application technology in the field of architecture after Computer Aided Design(CAD)technology.As one of the largest building markets in the world,the application and promotion of the BIM technology in China is a trend of the times.However,although there have been a number of classic cases using the BIM technology with some research achievements in China,most design institutes are still at the initial stage or local application stage,and the application modes that can be used for reference and promotion are lacking in the industry.Therefore,it is necessary for us to conduct in-depth analysis and research on the obstacles to the application and promotion of the BIM technology in the field of domestic architectural design,and carry out targeted solutions.This paper firstly extracts and analyzes the status quo of learning and application of the BIM technology and the obstructive factors in China from two aspects: on the one hand,we sent questionnaires to students of the building industry,university teachers,and design workers.The problems and obstacles in the training phase of BIM talents have been analyzed from three aspects – teaching,learning and application of the BIM technology in the field of domestic architectural design;on the other hand,four obstacles to the application of BIM technology in architectural design enterprises have been understood through analyzing the problems appeared in the process of practical application of the BIM technology.In the end,aiming at the previously analyzed obstructive factors,this paper proposes coping strategies and specific and feasible measures for both BIM teaching and promotion in colleges and BIM application and promotion in architectural design enterprises.In the study of the related aspects of the obstacles of the BIM application and promotion in the architectural design field,this paper hopes to stimulate construction professionals to criticize and consider so that the universities and the architectural design enterprises can correctly understand the BIM application situation,help accelerate the teaching,application and promotion of the BIM,so as to contribute to the informatization of China’s engineering construction industry.
